Well, I was today years old when I realised that WhiteSnake refers to CaucasianPenis.

I remember reading some interview where Coverdale not so subtly explained that it specifically referred to his own "whitesnake"...

They are letting in more arena rock lately and they had some really awesome songs. As far as important and influential I think the stats on this very webpage should be some clue that I think they’ve earned a little more then just to be the butt of butt-rock jokes and cliches. They made good records.

I wish Good to be Bad was on Spotify, I have the CD but it'd be nice to stream it as well. Some great tunes on that record.

Today is a sad day... Martin Birch died yesterday at age 71... He engineered/produced 9 of Whitesnake's albums (from: 1978-1984)

"Flesh & Blood" is a damn fine record. I get that yeah, it's "more of the same", but at this point I don't think anyone - including the band itself - it's expecting them to change their sound. "Forevermore" and "Good To Be Bad" might be a bit better, but this new one is actually very good. One of my favorites from 2019 so far! 🤘
