Frances the Mute with none of the discipline that makes that album work. a waste of their best line-up. their worst album by far, and that's with Self Titled being a thing.

I find tranquility in the chaos of this album. Every moment feels calculated but absolutely aloof and exactly where it needs to be. Pure bliss.

Their best fucking album. Frances The Mute and De-loused are awesome but this album has the true, raw and chaotic essence of this band. All encapsulated in 80 minutes of a pure gorgeous clusterfuck of music.

This may be their best album, despite the fact that they don't feature their far too amazing drummer prominently as much as they shins out of sheer petty spite. De-Loused sounds too squeaky clean, Frances has a cacophony of ideas that meander too much, Bedlam sounds foreign and exotic which may not be everyone's cup of tea. Octa is just weak, while Noctourniquet is fantastic but lacks Amputechture's vibrant, eerie and prog energy. Yeah, this is quintessential Mars record.

This is the Most underrated One, not the Best one that is Frances, but the Insanity on this is really intense, Tetragrammaton is an underaprecciated Masterpiece in my Opinion.

Tetragrammaton es increíble. Por si sola ya es suficiente para adquirir el disco.

After I bought this on the day it came out, it was the only thing I listened to for a week. Still one of my favorite albums ever.

Yeah this album is fucking crazy without a doubt, but it holds up with Deloused and Frances easily.

I remember when this first came out and a lot people were a bit "meh", "not the same as FTM"... And yeah, it's a bit different - the first one without a whole album concept story - but the songs on it are damn good. If I were really really really pushed into picking a favourite album... I'd probably go for this one. Love the cover too.

i don't understand why people have trouble with this record. it's very easy to get into it. it is probably the easiest to listen to of their albums bar the debut.
