Certainly better than original Let It Be. although i like the raw power of I've Got a Feeling in that one, Naked has better tracklist, the inclusion of Don't Let Me Down (one of the best Lennon songs ever) and Across the Universe sounds much, much better.

Blech. This album should be credited to "Paul McCartney's Gigantic Ego" rather than "The Beatles." Spector was one of the greatest producers of all time and he took a bunch of abandoned tracks that McCartney didn't have the wherewithal to finish at the time and crafted them into a quality record. To release an album free of Spector's "gratuitous embellishments" and present it as if it's some sort of long-awaited "true artistic vision" is ridiculous.

Aún así el Let it… naked suena mucho mejor, en mi opinión Spector estaba haciendo un disco para los '60s, esto se nota sobre todo en Across the Universe, The Long and Winding Road; Con orquestaciones muy al estilo de Jacques Brel, Sinatra, The Walkers Brothers, o incluso el primer disco David Bowie

Spector might’ve done a good thing, but that doesn’t mean he got the concept. It’s too bad that the band didn’t have the energy to make it what they wanted at the time, though, and that’s on them. Still, it’s nice that it got conceptually refined eventually, with or without Spector’s help.

So much better than the original Let It Be album. [10] Everything is better without Phil Spector.

Actually, Harrison's All Things Must Pass was produced by Spector, which he did a phenomenal job at.

He also produced John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, where he did a phenomenal job presenting Lennon as a spare singer/songwriter. He did a fine job on a great many songs and LPs. OcellatedGod was just talking out of his ass like he does/did 99% of the time.

Don't know how this is plastic sounding? It's the performances simply remixed and mastered. No artificial Phil Spector crap like added chorus and reverb effects. The right tape speed. No choirs burying the band. This is what the Beatles sounded like in the studio. Even the track list is much better.

Although this album is truer to The Beatles and definitely superior to the original version, I am glad both versions exist. What made the original version epic were the little inside jokes and quotes that have now reached legendary status.

The funny thing about this album is that it shows The Long and Winding Road is actually a good song.

An interesting concept but hardly a definitive version of Let It Be. The naked version of Across the Universe might be my favorite, though.

Amazing album! Simple, beautiful and complete. And very uplifting. Better then Spector's version, the latter is also good though. Love it.

it makes me so mad they released this instead of just releasing Get Back. Especially since the songs would be stripped down just like on this album. To hear the original Get Back album would be amazing, all this did was just fuck with Let It Be, how dare they take out Maggie Mae and Dig It.
