One day in high school beginner Spanish, a classmate asked our teacher to define a word he kept seeing in online forums. Our teacher was totally preplexed, and couldn't work out what he meant for the longest time. The student kept pronouncing "ja ja ja" like Matt sings "Sia! Sia! Sia!" here. And just like this song, the volume of his voice kept going up with his bewilderment at not being understood. What a legend.

This song is awesome. Love the Eura...SIA! SIA! SIA! part. Love the strings too, very exotic. The Collateral Damge part is beautiful to end the song with.

Why can't this song stand on it's own? People are obsessed with saying bellamy sounds like thom yorke, or that they sound like queen, and entirely miss the HEART of this song! Especially in the context of recent events; regime changes, nations rising against nation-- we're all PEOPLE, and we are tired of war. "These wars can't be won." And they certainly can't be stopped if all you guys can talk about is how much this sounds like Queen. [2]

Every so often this pops up on shuffle, and when it does, the delicate beauty and overblown epicness of my memories anticipating the release of The Resistance come flooding back. It sends a tingle down my spine, and fills my blood with an indescribable mute joy. It's a wonderful piece, made all the more powerful and elegant with the spirits of Freddie Mercury and Frédéric Chopin woven into the piece.
