This was my introduction to Meshuggah in 1998... never had heard anything like that. A seminal album, not only for the band but for metal in general. As influential on anything 'technical' and 'progressive' as was Fear Factory's "Demanufacture" for industrial metal three years earlier. Dozens of copycat bands, none of them got even close - instead Meshuggah got better with every successor album. Chaos in perfection.

@OmegaAxleX: dude, you make me laugh... "11 years old and it's still the best!" ... you're talking as if you already knew Meshuggah, back in 1998, when you were only 5. You'd better say: I like them, but I cannot really understand the time gap between now and then.
