Les Valentins first album Ego, Ego characterised by a poetic use of imagery, and Edith's remarkable voice, led, with songs like "on le sait" to a tour of the US and the mature Les Valentins style and this resulted in the excellent Juke Box, before session and tour commitments working with the likes of Etienne Daho provoked a pause in the band's project, which extended and curtailed the much awaited third album.
