@ supercathingmow well What You Waiting For? kinda flopped for some reason and I remember it being a big deal. Hollaback Girl saved the album. Also, I think the urban feel of the song was what made the radio play it.

@nick7654, while I somewhat agree that this album really didn't get the attention it deserved even when it was released it didn't do anything first that Lady Gaga did, alot of artists had already experimented in this style before even Gwen but their albums go unnoticed alot more but Gwen certainly brought the style forward.

I wish "Hollaback Girl" wasn't the most recognized single from this album. It really undermines how fantastic a big portion of these songs are-- some of the best pop songs of the decade, really. Namely What You Waiting For?, Cool, Danger Zone, Bubble Pop Electric, & Serious. Her forays into 80s retro pop/new wave were very strong-- I wish the album had that vibe consistently.
