Amateur night. Sounds like a Beatle Tribute Band playing the Holiday Inn Lounge out near the Airport version.

AMEN to everyone who's heard this very strange, not at ALL good cover of the George Harrison. No guitar solo, not him singing, not even the way he composed it. George, weirdly enough, was my favorite Beatle, so what in hell's name they're doing forcing us to listen to this version is beyond me. Please PLEASE take this version off

john and paul never said georges songs were better than theirs, mostly because they weren't but he did get better and he was a great musician with or without the beatles .it is sad he died so tragically. this version of Something didn't even sound like the song at all and that didn't sound like george singing.whats up with that.

This is but one of the fantastic tracks from the live 'Concert for Bangladesh', organised in 1971 by George Harrison in aid of refugees from the Bangladesh Liberation War and featuring a wealth of contemporary musicians. First released as a triple LP album it was re-released as a double CD some years ago. It rocked then and it still does.

George was the best Beatle he was the underdog who surprised John and Paul when they broke up when his albums sold HEAPS. Even when he was in the beatles paul admitted that George's songs were better than theirs by the time of abby road!

great song, sure i prefer the original Beatle version, but its still great having this up there by pretty much the same artist...instead of some cover artist and i quite like George's voice in this one when he gets shouting, bit rough etc...was this recorded during the Dark Horse years?
