JD is always going to be my favorite, but this is easily the one album I listen to the most by them. Everything is just so fucking *tight* and direct. This is how no nonsense metallic hardcore is done, straight to the fucking point and killing every moment without a second to breath. So good

Boy they really fucked up when they remastered this one. The original mix is so much better.

BloodOnLeaves Their worst, too many fill tracks and 2/3 masterpieces. 29 Ott 2014 Today I listened again to it, from first to last track, with lyrics on. I just love this album but I never had my eyes open until now.

As a whole Converge album from start to finish, this is their least (I wouldn't use the word 'worst' since it doesn't suck). However, it has 6 killer songs: Black Cloud, Drop Out, Hope Street, Heartless, Death King, Eagles Become Vultures. Que it up, in that order, and skip all the droning filler, and it would have been an insanely killer EP.

This is the record I tell people to check out when they are first getting into Converge.

This one's underrated by some fans.Jacob must've had a really bad breakup to inspire lyrics this fucking spiteful. I love the thick grinding guitar sound too.

First half is possibly the best thing they've ever done... but then the second half kinda loses me. Still, an essential release. I love it.

This is without a doubt Converge's best release. I love the whole noisy spazz sound to it and Jacob's vocals are in top notch and extremely evil sounding on this as opposed to other Converge albums. It's funny to note that this was their first release on a major label and it's their most experimental to date. The first two releases are amazing pieces of 90s hardcore, Jane Doe is great cause it laid the groundworks for their masterpiece, No Heroes is a nonstop punch in the face thrill ride...but there's something about the tone and atomosphere about You Fail Me that just cannot be matched. This was also the first Converge album I actually bought as opposed to getting burned copies from friends and I just remember staring at the cover art and being amazed at what I was listening to. It's such a shame Axe to Fall is so horrible. =/
