"Trust none of what you hear, and less of what you see" ....This is on the top 10 of Bruce's career. Superb.

A true and original voice in a world where musicians are becoming more and more insipid

Definitely a political statement. The lost freedom, i'm guessing is a reference to the Patriot Act. He's right. But it's ironic that the guy he supports is gonna pick Supreme Court members who believe its their God-given duty to protect us from the tyranny of the majority, and replace it with the tyranny of the unelected 9. God, i hate interjecting politics into artistic discussions, but it's Bruce's fault for putting it into his art (joke). Brilliant song tho, and it does reflect the sorry state of our nation. As does Radio Nowhere, which says much the same in a much more visceral manner. Truth Truth. Makes me long for the 60's when all we had to worry about was the A-Bomb... oh, and Vietnam... and... let's try the 50's...

For You is an epic visual storytelling time machine that encourages you to hop on for a ride down thunderous roads to simpler times for a journey through the heart of darkness where the fans feel so close and intimately personal with Springsteen like he's an old college buddy. This book is not just a fine addition to your collection, but is essential for any Springsteen fan. It is a treasure trove of pictures and stories that will not just take you for a ride down memory lane, but will leave you with an impenetrable sense of hope much the same way you feel cruising down the highway and having 'Thunder Road' blast from your speakers with the wind in your hair. When was the last time the written word did that?" www.foryoubruce.com
