Just adding to my earlier thoughts on this record, it's actually one of my favorite Dylan albums. I'd say top 5-6. And I agree with OcellatedGod, this is superior to his early 60s albums, since by this point he had lived so much more and he sounded more authentic singing these songs. Great stuff.

This one and Good as I Been to You are both very overlooked. As others have mentioned, you rarely even hear the existence of this and the earlier record acknowledged, which is a shame because they are terrific "Traditional Folk" albums. This one is slightly better than Good as I Been to You.

My favorite of Dylan's folk albums. I like it more than the classic early ones. Deserves more appreciation around here.

This album I had loved and lost during my whirlwind of childhood. I rediscovered it today. 16 years later I still remember the words to all the songs. Brought chills to my skin and tears to my eyes, over an over. I absolutely love this album.

I just spent 200 dollars American for this LP and I want to be buried with it when I die.

That's how I think it is, which is so unfair. People don't disregard Bert Jansch's Jack Orion as just a covers album. Dylan completely make these songs their own, and yeah his singing is fantastic.
