This album lacks variety. Nevertheless, I like it. Favourite: Barbaric, The Heights and The Swan.

I’ve listened to it 4 times. It’s a growing, faves songs so far: St. Charles Squeare, Barbaric, The Narcissist, Avalon and The Heights. The ballad and goodbye Albert are decent tunes. Russian strings, the Everglades, and far away island are the weakest for me IMO. Very good album overall. Thanks Blur for making new music and tours again.

Kanye after his most recent major break up: Donda 2. Damon Albarn after his most recent major breakup: … On a more serious note, between Anohni’s album and this one, the second half of 2023 is treating us with some truly special albums so far. I love the familiarity of this album, and yet it sounds so fresh at the same time. Damon really delivered with the lyrics and song writing

Great album, very solid. Even if it may look simple, melodies and arrangements are colourful and complex. It's probably a grower.

Not bad. I liked Barbaric and The Heights. But previous work, The Magic Whip, was more versatile.

This album is so soft and chill. The only noisy track is St Charles Square, but the rest of the tracks are very quiet and acoustic. Blur grow old with the fans.
