In 1991, 2Pac was a rapper with a much different image and sound than later in his career. This song has an alternative rap sound similar to Digital Underground, the group that gave him his big breakout in hip-hop by featuring him on the single “Same Song”, in early 1991.
The single “If My Homie Calls” was released on 25. February 1992 as vinyl record and cassette.
