ohh now you tell me, sarcasm doesn't work too well over the internet..i will try not to act all stalkerish..i'll just follow him home after the concert :), i met Josh Ritter a few weeks back, he told me him and Glen are soon to tour together which should be good. I've heard his name about alot, makes me think of bon jovi evrytime, can't imagine why, but yeah, i'll check him out...Enjoy your weekend :)

Ohh January the 14th, i'm seeing them then and i'll be 16 wooo, how good a birthday will that be ?! Its on a school day but i think i might just wait out for Glen and try not to talk a load of gobbledeygook to him. I agree with you wholely....but i just don't see the passion in westlife-though i do love old louie. the buckleys were pure gold, and of course i've seen once, i don't think you can be a Glen fan and not watch once once ha, its a beautiful film and makes me cry everytime, thought i have to admit its a little slow to begin with but despite that its pure magic.

Hello I only recently got into music-proper music, before that i would listen to whatever was in the charts or whatever was considered coolat the time. Glen blew me away first time i heard him and still does,i'd never heard someone giving so much passion intoto a song before. Have you seen the man live ? And thankyou for the link, some great musicians/bands on there-especially radiohead and Jeff Buckley..and of course the frames.

Too bad regarding Emmy, judging from the acoustic bonus CD that came along with the album she seems to be great live. Thanks a lot for letting me know about the DeYarmond CD, I really appreciate it. Regarding the compilation: I actually bought that one a few weeks ago, mostly because of the Justin Vernon/Bon Iver songs, as you might have guessed ;) Unfortunately I've got to admit that the thing as a whole diappointed me a little, but finally owning "Brackett, Wi" on CD was definitely worth it :) Guess I should give it another try, which songs are your favorites?

Same here, haven't even searched for it yet. I'm also still looking for the other DeYarmond CD since I've only found "Silent Signs" so far. "Heroin(e)" is a great song, could listen to that one over and over again. Just noticed Emmy the Great in your list, did you get to see her live? I'm totally in love with her album, but she hasn't played any shows in Germany so far, I think.

You're absolutely right, she's lovely. What a beautiful voice and lyrics and melody!! If I were a boy i'm sure that I would fall in love with her quickly, haha. In relation to R.E.M, yes, that was me, you've such a good memory! But, unfortunately i did not go... :( And you were right, i regret it so so much... It's better not to remember... Hope i could see Michael Stipe soon, anyways. But, i saw Sigur Rós at last!! It was unbelievable, so so so moving... You just have to see them, they're brilliant live. :_)

Thanks for the link, I'll definitely give it a try, especially since I already know and like The Frames :) Love Glen Hansard's voice ever since I saw "Once", but I only own one The Frames album, so this is definitely going to be interesting. Too bad the Bon Iver concerts aren't available for download, or did I miss something there?

Too bad you didn't get to see him so far, keeping my fingers crossed for you to change that in the near future :) Really can't wait for the concert, I'm totally addicted to his music ever since I heard it for the first time. Again: thanks for the MP3s, I appreciate it even more since I got to listen to them today. I'm especially obsessed with the "Les Concerts à emporter" version of "For Emma", that one is mind-blowing. Cheers

Hey there, just saw your post in the Bon Iver group shoutbox (judging from the shouts below I'm obviously not the only one;) and wanted to ask whether you might send me the link to the mp3s, as well. I'm totally in love with his music and therefor would really appreciate it :) Greetings

Oh man, I have had For Emma, Forever Ago since it was re-released but never listened to it until recently. It is a great album indeed and I would actually love to have more material from him besides the single album and Myspace session. You know, I really wish I could share a band with you called The Lost Sea, but sadly I got the EP off iTunes. You should check out their Myspace page.
