they are not very frequent, once or twice a year..but they last about a week so if you have a decent connection you can probably snatch at least 1 TB (probably much more)

also, I suggest you to bookmark releases and collages. eventually there will be a freeleech of all the torrents in the site

keeping a good ratio is pretty hard if you download many things and don't have a good upload speed. I recommend you to download all the freeleech you can. Also, you'll only be required to maintan a certain ratio after you download your first 5 gb, and even after that the required ratio is pretty low if you seed everything you download.

If it's that, then that's odd. Also, don't you have any Danish films to recommend me? I've been waiting for a month, you know. :)

Eheheh. I actually got a Danish flag this time. Were you somewhere else when we talked?

Oooh. That reminds me. Recommend me some Danish films. I'm broadening my horizon.

So you like the classics. I prefer more underground films. They have this raw feeling. Do you like any lesser known films?

Yeah. I watched the film years ago. I wish I could remember. Maybe I'll be lucky and see it somewhere. I'll let you know if I do.

What are we, in the end? Just a bunch of petty humans. :) No, sadly I can't remember the name. I searched imdb with some keywords - it comes up empty.

Every generation faces such problems. It used to be bad sanitation. Everyone kept dying very young from one thing or another. War, incurable diseases, the flu... Now it's overpopulation. And I have no idea what's gonna happen next. Can't say I want to think about it. I love watching films on the subject, though. I watched this one film where mother earth turned to human form to "take care" of overpopulation. It was hilarious. Oh, and "a marked improvement on previous arrangements". I loved that. :)

Eheh. My grandfather was a farmer. I could never live that life though. It's too empty. Too stable. It's almost like being blind. You can't want what you can't see. I think we're in a better place now than where our grandfathers where. Much more people are aware of new possibilities. So much more is within our reach. Just the idea of doing something new is exhilarating.

Exactly. The internet is a great invention. It might just be the greatest invention ever. But it's also terrible. So much exposure. I always try to do a hundred things at once and fail at all of it. Man wasn't made to multitask. :3

It's scary in the most fascinating way. It's like entering a stranger's bedroom for the first time. I'm at the very beginning. A couple of months I guess. That's what happens when you try to learn two languages at once. I have no patience.

Well, I'm learning Swedish, from zero, all by myself and it doesn't seem hard. I'm good with languages. The thing about Scandinavia is, because of the education system, wherever you go you meet people who know English. Makes everything easier. I'm big on food. I can never EVER eat bad food. I'd rather get tortured on a daily basis. But yeah. The idea of space amazes me. It's just completely different from anything else. Things hardly ever fall down. :> That's what mesmerizes me about space. Gravity. Imagine walking on the moon. So floaty. I sometimes have these nightmares when I travel to outer space without any oxygen. My breathing is fine but then I somehow get out of the planet's orbit and I'm up in the air. And I scream but nobody can hear me. (Space, duh.) And I get lost forever. Just an echo in space. That's the second scariest dream I've ever had.

Nope. No family ties. I just have a Swedish fetish. creativity + environmentalism + not a lot of people + cold = heaven. I never read film critics. I tend to hate the things Ebert loves and vice versa. I think being an astronaut would suck. It's cool in theory, but just think about how long it takes to get somewhere. All cooked up in a ship with a couple of guys, driving each other crazy.

By here I meant Turkey in general. We have no respect for the old, either. We keep taring things down and building abominations in their place. Hopefully, the minute I graduate, I'm gonna move to somewhere delightfully cold and never come back. By writing about films, do you mean like a critic? That would be my dream job. Getting paid for analyzing films.

Yes. That was what I was wondering. What happens when you graduate? I know some people from the US who studied English. Two of them are librarians. The other one does a completely unrelated job. I'm studying Architecture. First year. It's like learning about democracy while in China. The people here have absolutely no aesthetic values. It's driving me mad.
