ahaha that's interesting. idk, it was nice to see them again. and they played moya this time :-)! i know i am >_> it's just in all honesty i hadn't really heard much of their music beforehand and i knew i shouldn't miss it, but i was so tired.. xD regrettable. nice, i am considering it and all, but i know it'll be a pain to get to and get the money and stuff. may go. :)

ahh they were fantastic, i waited for like 45 minutes just to make sure i had a spot in the front row ahaha. in all fairness i have to agree, i saw GY!BE in manchester during december and it was brilliant, though it's probably just because this is the second time i've seen them. aw i missed swans, i was exhausted and decided to go lie down outside ahaha. i'm terrible. i only caught a few songs from portishead, i left shortly after i managed to bump into victoria LOL. but now i'm curious ahaha, i wish i had seen that. and oh it's a maybe, i'm quite tempted to go, what with les savy fav, battles, washed out, simian mobile disco, holy fuck, etcetera. are you going?

You should be able to get into a separate queue for picking up tickets so that you don't have to get them and then walk to the back of a huge queue, unless the Apollo doesn't have that system. Anyway yeah i'll probably see you inside, it's definitely worth getting to the front if you can.

That'll be fine then, I just read somewhere that they didn't allow any camera at all. Yeah, what time are you planning in getting there? I bought me dad a ticket in the end, so don't have to worry about trains/ finding somewhere to stay. We're leaving at 3, I went to the RFH show last Friday and it was the best thing I've ever been to but my seat was in rear stalls so I'm determined to get there early enough to be at the front.

It's not too late to change the a-levels, they start in september, so i'll way up what i'll learn in music tech and what i could learn in a foundation course. I emailed quite a few, one a few replied, only one posted, so its tough... Indie Rock Cafe (quite a large/known blog) replied but that got no where. I emailed Rose Quartz, and got a reply there ("these sound great") but that led no where.. Then there was I Guess I'm Floating, Coke Machine Glow and You Aint No Picasso, but they didnt say anything.. Also, The Needle Drop and JP's Blog (both big popular).. The Mix Tape http://www.themixtape.co.uk/ was the one that was succesful, and the guy who runs it, Merlin, was really safe and interested. Good luck..

English, History, Philosophy and Music Tech... I'm really wary of Music Tech because when I did Art gcse it sucked the creativity out of my art and i hardly did my own projects, and I dont want that to happen with music, and also I've been looking at Art foundation courses (they're free if you're under 19) for my gap year, but you need Art A-level..

Yeah definitely, you've got the post-rock thing sorted. Submit to loadsa places, but don't nag! I use my Boss Micro BR 4-Track, which is only £100 so not top of the range, and laptop with internal mic sometimes, but thats rubbish, so mainly 4-Track. The only downside is there's only 4 tracks available... There's no reason why you shouldn't break the blogosphere if i could haha.

Oooh sounding good. I'm so happy with where I've got in 4 months. Featured on TheMixTape, songs on Hypem, followed (and complimented) by 7" label on Soundcloud and now gained a fan in Julian Lynch (unprompted!), all without my parents hearing a note.. i ought to show em..

He found it from a 'Google alert' from his label.. 'looking forward to your other tracks'.. wow, that's mad I only did it in 30 mins and put it up on tuesday.. Google Mato Ica... It's all pretty poor but that doesn't matter. Some site put my songs up, and now I'm on Hypem, too ! Yeah, Art Exam was good but they banned earphones/music so my plan failed completely. I've got part two in an hour.

yeah i just saw Lykke, but wasn't too keen. I did hear one of her songs I liked though.. PJ could be good, that album got incredible reviews but I hadn't heard a note until then. I actually thought Ed Sheeran looked talented and pretty good, but I still dislike the voice (and the fans).. Off to the art exam now, can't wait to stream Julian Lynch from start to fin.

I guess, I reckon Sufjan could fill the stage, and contrast his electronic tracks with old Seven Swans / Illinoise tracks.. I'd love it to be him. I could see it being Paul Simon, and it would be decent if he did S&G songs. Who are you actually going to the festival with ?

It's GOT TO be Sufjan. I've got the idea into my head and have got all excited about it because it makes sense to me, but i doubt it ( :( ). It could be Primal Scream, but i think the Suede bro was just confused... Maybe Paul Simon or BB King otherwise (heritage actssss), what's yr say ?

I'll have to check it out. Last year me and my cousin weren't up to Florence, and The National had overflown their tent, so we wandered around the forest. Probably at the wrong time, as it was rather empty. Is 'In The Woods' the area leading to the Sunrise ?

God i honestly can't remember. I walked through plenty of woods, and we watched one man dressed as a robot and covered in glowsticks, and the Jim Jones Revue (or was it Tankus The Henge ? ). There was also a board where people wrote the dreams they had the night before... was all this the faraway forest ? and where was the Masked Ball ?

oh wow, well i don't have many 18+ buddies with similar taste and i doubt my dad would, but two years time i'll consider it with great thought. can't wait for my first; Knee Deep At ATP by Los Camp really turned my fancy to it.
