Hello dear friend, thank you for thinking of me related to Istanbul. Once Istanbul has inspired many authors, artists and musicians; for example Ivan Ayvazovsky visited Istanbul during the periods of Sultan Abdülmecid and Abdülhamid. He has thirty one painting of nature and urban themed in the Painting Collection of National Palaces.

Hello dear slavicfrost, thank you for your sincere words. You're right, the composers in my top15 are not completely contemporary classical; from the post-romantic period too... I do not listen much to the Baroque Period except Vivaldi. My favorite composer is Shostakovich; I also love Rachmaninoff, Mahler, Debussy. And you? What are your favorite composers? Thank you for your interest in my page..My best wishes to you for a great Sunday:)

Brouwer's indications of duration are not serious, he confessed it!! If you look at the score, The question is:what does the measurement change mean? I play a big crescendo to that moment to prepare it, then the music and the mood change and it felt naturally to expand time a little bit! You know that Roland Dyens some years played in concert variations on it by himself, but they never got published..
