Yes Sprout & Co. had great music but it didn't bring them success though I can understand why with Safe In The Arms Of Love for example, it has a sort of Italo-Disco sensibility about it which wouldn't appeal to the UK in general. The first time I heard Turn It Into Love I was like "how did I miss THIS?!", I was later surprised to find that Hazell Dean recorded a version AND released it as a single. I much prefer the backing track on Kylie's and her vocal is perfect. My favourite HD songs are Whatever I Do... and ...Gonna Rain Hazell Dean may be the queen of PWL but Divine is the queen of queens!

I'm not familar with THL's new album other than the single 'Never Let Me Go'. It's nothing special but it's still a nice little pop tune.

Hey! I was going to suggest the new album "Metropolis" by Parralox to you. It has a definite 80s sound - but then I noticed that you've only played them 7 times so thought you mustn't like them. I was also going to suggest "Dreamer" by Tune In Tokyo - the singer on this track is Natalie Gauci who won Australian Idol in 2007. You could also try "Physical" by Radio Ink - they're a new Australian dance group and this song is a bit Kylie-ish to me. And finally there's Zoë Badwi with her single "Freefallin" and new one "Accidents Happen". All of these are very dance/pop with Tune In Tokyo being a little more club/electro. Let me know if you'd like to hear any of them. And by the way, I'm glad I reminded you to play "Long Hard Funky Dreams" - I loved this back in the day!
