I understand the whole, 'so much music so little time'...there are so many bands (and other artists!) out there to try out, and I've definitely experienced that once I turned 18. I was heavily into metal and only metal (not even rock) back in my high school years. I listened to Type O extensively, and eventually branched out to Doom and Death Metal, so many bands I've listened to that weren't scrobbled! Because I listened to TON so much, I gave Carnivore my fair share of time, though I didn't listen to them half as much as I did TON. I still come back to Carnivore though, there are songs that I really like which I've yet to hear from other bands (in terms of musical/lyrical similarity). My favorite TON songs are: Who Will Save The Sane?, In Praise of Bacchus, IYDKMIGTHTKY, Less Than Zero, and Creepy Green Light. Though I love many many songs. I once even performed an oral interpretations of Peter's lyrics. Great times.

Yeah I've loved TON for a long time! I think I've been listening to them for almost ten years now...time flies I guess. I really miss Pete, I never met him, but he was a big hero in my eyes back in my high school years. I cried really hard when I found out that he died. Heh I have all their albums and the DVD version of 'After Dark'. I've sold many albums in my collection, but I'll never sell my TON stuff. What do you think about Pete's other band, Carnivore?

Thanks a bunch for those recs, I'll take a look through the ones I've not heard, have been meaning to check out the Filmworks series so I'll start with those ones you've mentioned. Really enjoyed Godess but for some reason didn't get it so I'll get hold of that also, quite a few others there I don't have... Super library also!

I get what you mean. I like 'Motherfucker', though, it is a novelty song of sorts. I figure they had to name the song that so people would look at them again after the long time of not creating any new material. But I have higher hopes for new FNM considering the talent these guys have. I think that BIlly and Puffy still have it. And Mike hasn't let up on content really, so I once again, I have high hopes. And the guys have been working on this new one for at least half a year I think, so at least there's been time put in and out of it. I dunno I may be rambling at this point thanks to sleepless ness.

I feel ya on that. Though, I've personally never been huge into Tomahawk or Fantomas myself. I've seen the DVD you're talking about, though that was almost 3 years ago, and the DVD belonged to an ex boyfriend, so I don't remember everything about it. Nor do I have access to it. :/ But I guess that's okay, I tend to stay around the Faith No More and Mr. Bungle realm anyway. Do you think that the new FNM will be more inspired and interesting than Oddfellows?

I thought Oddfellows was alright, nothing really stuck out to me. I like Stone Letter, but that's really it.

I feel the same, in every day life it seems that few people are fans of FNM. I'm excited to hear this new one, I think that it'll be a good sequel to 'Album of The Year'. Though, from 'Motherfucker', I think that the album may sound more like 'King For a Day', near the end of that album that is. Still, I think it's going to be good either way! How big are you on Mike Patton's other projects? I see Peeping Tom and Mr. Bungle, do you listen to Tomahawk or Mondo Cane at all?

Haha, same here! I might go over to a friend's house and watch movies or something. I'm not big into going out with a bunch of people and getting drunk. A nice relaxing evening at home is all I need :P

Don't I know it! I definitely ate like a months worth and yet I'm still hungry! It was pretty good, it's always nice to see family and friends who are back from college. Of course, it's nice just to relax too, got a while before classes start up again. Are you ready for the new year?

I prefer Sex Offender to Purgatory Dance Party actually. I lie on the floor of my room a lot in the dark and listen to Sex Offender. :D It's my kind of meditation! I think DFD just like getting together to play yearly shows in their local area. I do wish Todd Smith would come to Australia in some form though. And yes, I wouldn't complain about a Mr. Bungle reunion either. :D
