Cool, I just read Peter Sotos's contribution to 'Apocalypse Culture II' entitled "Primetime". I think I'm gonna track those down ASAP. Also, I'll look for that split, as well as the Endless Blockades/Bastard Noise one. I mean, since you speak so highly of it and all that jazz. Let me know what you think of that early Voivod stuff.

Yeah, go for the first three right off the bat ('War and Pain', 'Rrröööaaarrr', and 'Killing Technology'). You should also give 'Dimension Hatröss' a chance, as well as 'Nothingface'. Take note that most metalheads/thrashers of the era didn't take too kindly to the post-'Killing Technology' era. After all those albums you're on your own with the rest of the discography because I can't really recommend anything else unless you dig any of those earlier albums. It should also be noted that the albums 'Negatron', 'Phobos', and 'Lives' were not recorded with original vocalist Snake. The Eric Forrest period has a "harsher" vocal quality (but still nowhere near Snake's versatility and eccentricity) but the music is more dumbed-down.

I thought I had remembered that split being a 3 or 4 way anyways. Didn't realize it was a straight up Cock ESP/BRR split. I know labels like that where they just throw on their own tracks to any release they put out, like BSP all over your own releases, they call them "bonus tracks" but you already know the real deal.

heh, my belt is black fool, i've never owned a white belt in my life, although i may get one for the occaision, i'm sure one of my compilation-making-electro-hipster-friends has one I can borrow. We don't use the T-word 'roud here patna. I don't believe I was ever threatening in the slightest bit, we WERE kinda discussing this matter like adults. I'm just saying, we both knew this day would come when we'd meet face to face. I doubt we're even going to fight because you'll bitch out and I'm not gonna be the dick that blindsides you and throws the first swing with so many witnesses, that would be an immature stunt. And I'm not really gonna say much more about it than we've already said. Just this: If we do fight (you might make some stupid ass remark or give me the slightest reason to strike you) then yes, I will hurt you. And I will enjoy it very much. And other people watching will enjoy it as well. I'm surprised no one in the noise (or any) community has beat you up yet.

I bring no pedals. If we fight, I'm not sure it should be during one of our sets, IKT! doesn't want us to fight before my set, because he's afraid the show will get shut down. It's all cool to fight during or after my set though. There will be video cameras, so if you get your ass kicked by RedSK (which you definitely will if we do fight) it's gonna be all over tha youtubes and other whatnot. I wouldn't even give two shits about fighting you if you weren't such a shit-talking little bitch all the time, but you are, you talk mad mad shit constantly and it fucks with my steez. I will hurt you if we fight though. I'll be on that street shit. Feel free to antagonize me, I will be feeling intoxicated and rowdy and I'm always game to throw down.

I could care less about complaints. I'll always do whatever kind of music I want in whatever way I see fit. I've somehow gotten a lot of support for what I do and I see no reason to try to impress the audience, they know the deal. I'm gonna act rowdy, probably do a mix of hip-hop, punk and noise, and hustle up bus money to get back home. That's my whole plan. I probably won't bring much more than a contact mic, my bass, one amp, a laptop, a tape deck, and maybe a circuit bent keyboard.

You got asked to be on this because you're a Texas musician. I'm wondering why I was asked to come from Detroit to Texas to play a show like this. You and me might be some of the only select few noisers there. I'm sure you can afford bus fair, you live in the same state as the show, I'm blowing like $300 to make this happen with no actual gain. And honestly, the only people I actually know like that are IKT! and ABL. Everyone else I've only "heard of" for the most part. I'ma be on your steez though, using borrowed amps, one of our studios got robbed and we lost more than half our gear.

i don't know but i like white belts, they are good with certain outfits, in instances when brown clashes with other colors and when black is just too much

Yeah, I noticed some shit with the tags, but I've already corrected most of them. That wasn't a big problem for me, but yeah, I think it would be useful if you upload the fixed version.

Hm, strange. Just downloaded the split from Matt's blog, everything seems to be fine, and with OX part too. Didn't listen to all of it yet, though, but anyways it seems to be a damn good piece of gore.
