atually I think I have come across it before, I think I have picked it up in the West End Fopp. I actually really liked the Butcher Boy album, but then I do like B&S a lot. I actually had the Phantoms as my album of 2009! King Creosote#2, De Rosa#3, Twilight Sad#4, Jetpacks#5, Mumford&Sons#6, The XX#7, Ambulances#8, ButcherBoy#9 and Malcolm Middleton #10 http://peenko.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

I got confused, I meant The Skinny, not Stool Pigeon. Monthly free broadsheet looking music and arts press kinda things. Every year when I compile my Top 10 albums I always check the press and websites I follow cause they always do there's at the end of Nov, just to see if I missed out on anything. The Skinny had Butcher Boy and The Phantom Band in there's. Butcher Boy was nothing special, I kinda hate it when Scots bands fall into the Belle and Sebastian style, but TPB jumped right in at No.7. What was your Top 10 then?

Just a heads up, I got my confirmation for my Phantom Band PDF today. Really looking forward to it. It'll be my third time seeing them this year, they are one of the best live acts I've seen in years. Thank Jeebus for Stool Pigeon, or I'd never of heard of them.

it's not out yet mate, I think it's due in June/July, or at least that's what I think they said when they were doing their session for Marc Riley. They do have some free songs available to download on their Bandcamp page though http://mitchellmuseum.bandcamp.com/album/we-lost-1st-prize Don't worry if you can't talk anyone round, I know that feeling all too well! With regard to the Phantom Band gig, if I have/hear of any spare tickets I'll give you a shout. I guess nobody will know until they've been posted out. I'm still not sure if I'll get sent any

I'm sure folk will turn up, I guess I am jsut overly paranoid seeing as it's our first shot at this. I was toying with the Wolves gig on Saturday, mainly to see the French Wives again, as they were crakcing at Hinterland. When is the Esperie gig, I had completely forgotten about that one?

Hey there kind Sir. Any idea where I can pick up the Mitchell Museum album, I can find it anywhere. If I can convince my mates to come along to see a bunch of bands they've never heard of, you'll have a few more bodies at your shin-dig. Also I don't suppose you could help at all with this United Nations thing the BBC are putting on at King Tuts next week. They're putting on The Phantom Band and I have to see them again this year.

I was the same, starting at 4 wasn't the best idea I've ever had. Over the Wall were really good on Monday, not that I'm trying to rub it in. What've you got coming in the next few weeks? I don't have anything planned, or at least anything I've bought tickets for. Line up-wise, i am still pretty shocked how good it is, I just pray that everyone that says they're coming actually does!

Good shout getting Mitchell Museum to play at your gig, saw them supporting Sunset Rubdown last year. If I hadn't been going to Pressure that night I'd be there for sure. Are you going to make it a regular event?

to be fair I can't take the full credit for passing the ticket over, it was my friend Boab who took the lead there, mainly because he'd just had his nails done I think. Delphic-wise - quite simply I don't get it, but then I din't 'get' much that was on the BBC's Sound of 2010 (or whatever it was called). Sunday-wise, can't wait, the only downside is that I have to come into work on the Monday. Oh and were you the guy with MYT tat?

Well it looks like I owe you for a few things, first off, thanks for posting about that gig, if you hadn't then iI wouldn't of heard about it. It made for a great first gig of the year, about 100x better than what was originally good to break me into the year, Delphic, it was kinda meh. And tah again for the prize. You looking forward to The Unwinding Hours?
