Hi! I love it. After sitting with it for about a month, I actually think it's their best album. It also sorta feels like a culmination of all their previous work. It has that lo-fi energy, it's epic as fuck, but it's also really accessible and catchy. Are you liking it?

that donnie trumpet album is pretty neat for what it is for new stuff (2015), but mainly i've been going through 90s houston rap and bay area stuff, lots of gems in there worth going thru. if i gave 1 from each i'd go with botany boys - thought of many ways . rbl posse - a lesson to be learned

i still haven't found the time to listen, plan to during this weekend though. i've just saw it getting a lot of rave lately due to the high reviews, plus it's been long-awaited and all. tho i' haven't listened to much non hip hop music in a long while so it may sway my thoughts

Sure check out Book M and Book of Horizons. They both are really varied don't go too out of control like their first two albums. But I actually like crazy shit like that. So, if you do too, then check out First Grand Constitution and Bylaws, it's basically a mixtape of many styles of music.

Yeah I think he she go solo as well. The melodies on the record were really good too. I see you've scrobbled Joanna Newsom; I've tried to get into but it wasn't working lol. What album should I start with? She just screams an artist I would like but something isn't clicking.

definitely think gravity's rainbow and v are his most enjoyable. wouldnt even conceive of crying lot in the same galaxy to be honest. i am re-reading ulysses this winter, cannot wait. i dont know if you read beckett's malone trilogy but i can't really imagine anyone doing anything better than that. have you read any gaddis? JR is so brilliant.

Certainly! Not sure what kind of scifi you're interested in, but I always always always suggest Ray Bradbury. He has such a magical sense of writing and captures and wonder and imagination of scifi so well. Not so much hard scifi though. American Gods by Neil Gaiman is creepy and strange and awesome. Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy is a classic favorite of mine, and basically any Stephen King is on the fringe of scifi and horror. Hope that helps! =D

For bands similar to Our Sunday Affairs, listen to Studying, Carved Our Names In Snow, Be Still, Cody, Cape Farewell and Kaoru Nagisa, all heavier but better.
