Our compatibility here is low but I know it's not right. You have port-royal and Ulrich Schnauss in your list. We are soulmates...

Your compatibility with obelisko1971 is Low. You both listen to Chihei Hatakeyama, 36 and Warmth. I need some sort of ambient recommendations, if you will, thanks in advance!

Javi!! How is it going with you? Sorry for not replying soo long, things have been a little hectic here, we are in the process of moving to Portland while dealing with the kid, etc., not a lot of time for checking last.fm, but I am still scrobbling! And I am happy to see you remained active here! Are you still in London? Any new findings recently? :) My obsessions these days are Ulla's "Foam" and Sangam & Kid Smpl's "Found Wings", but there are so many new releases, it's hard to keep up with stuff..

Hey Hey, now that you have stopped by, I would like to suggest a nice album that my friend Ian has put together; go check this lovely compilation with the nicest of all purposes: Profits for UNICEF to protect children in Ukraine. Go, go, go...! (And be generous) ♥ ~ https://homenormal.bandcamp.com/album/places-for-peace

What a nice surprise, having your visit again Andre :) Thanks for your shout! Yep, not blaming you for your detachment from Spofo, I'm focusing on some other ways to get new music too. And as for popping over here, trying to at least scrobble once a month or so. I'm still discovering new music I bought a decade ago kept in my Ipod (this may now sound vintage) you won't believe it. All good over here, planning to go to some events soon. If time, and not done yet, check up a couple of labels. Moderna and Seil (Tapes). Bandcamp has a very comprehensive amount of artists and labels within the experimental, ambient and modern classic that you might enjoy. Be well my friend :)

Andre, check my friend Raf's page (hafssol) ~ I think you already follow him. He has the best new folk stuff around here. I have been more into instrumentals, super ambient / sleep sounds and some incredible Arooj Aftab; I think that's the folkiest I could get, at least end of last year... Re Daniel Rossen, I think he will be playing at my favourite music venue in town : Union Chapel. It's near my neighbourhood :D Will check up his song

Hi again, over a long time, true. Nice to hear from you! For me it's been busy summer and autumn, more on the plate than can finish, but progress is there and future is bright :) Music wise I'm wondering here and there, haven't discovered nothing too big recently in ambient genre (visiting old favourites like Marsen Jules, Amir Baghiri, Biosphere), but exploring early dub and reggae music. I think Vir Unis & his collabs with other ambient big ships was something I started listening over last half a year. How's your life going?

Hey, hope I'm not spamming you here :) Didn't find "Music for sleep" amongst your artists. Guy just released one really nice long drone: https://mforsleep.bandcamp.com/album/background-music-shard-of-the-ancient It's free DL one week. Check it out!

Found really delightful droning, light and airy release that you may enjoy. Heavenchord is mostly dub-techno guy, but this one is ambient in it's purest form. Hope you find it from somewhere to listen: https://www.discogs.com/Heavenchord-Amanita-Phalloides-Quietest-Places/release/15778371 . Let me know if it was to your liking or not :)

Oh yes, Sachi! Isn't she wonderful!? I'm now listening to the new Chihei; such a prolific artist! Void XXII, so fitting to watch snow fall looking out my window this morning. His show at IKLECTIK was my 2018 favourite. Aren't you missing live events at all? I'm so starving :( We must plan a week only devoted to shows either here or Japan! The first thing I'll do when Coronightmare ends will definitely be that :) Super NEED !!!!

yep, life is not bad really, a lot of musical projects, listenings of something new and forest trails walks. thank you for your kind wishes, i think all will be great. unfortunately the first live show with solos of electroguitar and tank drum will not be record, it's all about unreleasing stuff, so i can't show this stuff at now... but maybe i'll change my mind, who knows? and second live show will be with samples and live electronics, it will be an experiment for me with a lot of improvisations and i will try to record it to audio format. maybe some videos will include after that. anyway, i learn to play music still and think that it will never end, second show might be interesting :) learning to something new in making of music is my constant position, grow and delelope on every next project, same thing about new instruments and gear, i trying something new every time and that's why i don't have any identical records..

I sometimes miss some of the notifications as I don't enter the profile and only browse and quick look at the shout box. Quick note for any friends, followers or anyone passing by. There's a super nice playlist on Spotify (this is not to have a go at lastfm when I should, because I'm barely getting any recs on here and I tend to obtain solid recs from other sources). For lovers of Ambient music, go and check this playlist. Perfect for the Autumn season and for pointing out new artists / (classic) and amazing sounds!! Go Go Go... The playlist is by Ambientologist ♥ ~ http://open.spotify.com/user/11puqwpwct8k3dh5ubu5m494f/playlist/2lAAz0FFHK3mAqVubwvcnX Also, if you're keen on being friends on Spotify, this is my user profile containing a more eclectic type of music and not only ambient stuff. Look forward to following you too ♥ ~ http://open.spotify.com/user/meerjav

Hello Javi! Thx for the good wishes, I think you might have mixed it up with Mio's BD though, mine is later in December :) I did listen to kmrU just a few weeks ago, it is indeed amazing! Also glad to see such high quality electronic music coming out of Africa. I have been totally hooked on Roméo Poirier's "Hotel Nota" and "u,i" by Olivier Alary these days, give them a listen, both are out of this world! Stay safe and catch some soundwaves! :)

Aah 2nd_face friend :) Fantastic news from your end! I look forward to listening to your work, I'm definitely getting one of those tapes, but nowhere to play it atm :((( ... Feel free to leave links or any kind of contacts if you want to promote it on this shoutbox now that it has been socially revived, so all my friends and visitors also know about it. You have a nice source of recommendations from your daughter as I love Ichiko's music and voice lol I have also checked the Kaluga forest and it's just beautiful, WoW! Summer's good in London, well if you want it call it summer? Sending Soundwaves for you and your lovely family ((^.^))

Bali Friend!!! Spotted it on your charts and grabbed it!! Yes, really loved the <<Sublunar Sphere>> drifting :D More and more immersed in these type of sounds as I grow older. Have also enjoyed k-lone, so please point me in the right direction whenever you come across sounds like these. Every now and then, but less nowadays I like my soft beats^^ Sending Soundwaves to all of you, specially Emerick ♥ ~

missed this thread somehow.. @obelisko1971, thank you! Emerick is getting the ambient treatment, in fact he's been exposed since before he was born :D he seems to greatly enjoy the album Astronauts from Unknown Me (https://www.last.fm/music/Unknown+Me/Astronauts) nowadays. btw, we are still waiting for your visit to Japan! :) @tarkmeenia, yes, that is the one! :)

Difficult times to travel Bali friend! Thanks so much for the invite though - Let's just say *only hoping in the near future* ... I'm totally lost in terms of going out / socializing / events. Can't even figure out the idea of going to a gig anymore. And for music, I'm diving into good recs from the monthly Ambient tag on Bandcamp. I'm sure you'll probably know most of the new recs there. So yep, I'll keep an ear on 'Unknown Me', thank you ~ NOT getting anything out of lastfm, apart from great music friend's reconnections + new acquaintances and that's quite gratifying ♥ ~

Actually second account. I think I started something like 2003, then deleted my account at one point and then started again in 2005. Yeah, I tend to surf on profiles as well with this eye from time to time. I really like this listen history, good surprises like "Whoa cool band.. Didn't know it before... Oh wait, I listened it 10 years ago" :D

Well I started with audioscrobbler. Looking at wiki, it was merged with last.fm at 2005. Now you made me go into waybackmachine and try to recall the original layout. It has changed massively over the time.
