Prog metal indeed, only says that because i've been listening to a lot of Pain of Salvation, Devin and Ayreon at the now... Once i've had this for awhile Black Metal will soon take it's rightful place ;-)

Hi Laura, nice to hear from you, things have been better, have been worse. I'm moved back to Canterbury which is a mixture of good and bad. Plus side is no more living with cats, no rent, there's free food and it's reasonably warm :P What's happening to you then? Leoxx

It was great! I mean, the weather could have been better the first two days, but once I got the music in me I was totally flying and didn't look back after that point. It was definitely worth every last penny and I truly had one of the finest weekends of my life. I'll almost certainly attend next year. You should too. You wont regret it. Get off of work or any other things and be there, hehe.

*enraged* I was having a gander at some piccies of some of my favourite bands and their respective members and was angered by some of the comments posted about them. Why is it anyones concern what these guys wear or how they have their hair, or whether or not they are "true"? Most of the sad, sycophantic cretins that post comments like that on here don't even know what that means and decide to take it upon themselves to label artists as gay or traitors. My advice to them would be to actually listen to the music that they love and that moves and inspires them without subscribing to a scene and insulting artists that they feel don't fit the mold anymore. Music evolves, image is nothing, if you don't like it then change the channel because they didn't make the music for you, something else inspired and compelled them to make it. I'm going to listen to perdition city again, because it's a very gorgeous album, and I need to calm down....

I'm not sure about the laying of eggs but I can give it a go ;) I'm fine, just had a fantastic weekend in London. Finland...nice. I don't have any festivals planned at the moment but was considering Brutal Assault, and ATP obviously. I'm also considering a highlands trip which will obviously include some 'burgher action...will let you know X

Hi mate. Yeah I am well, just winding down for the year. Thats good news bout your new freind and new music. Have you seen sun(((o before?.I have seen them a few times, they allmost made me poop my pants one night as they were so fuggan loud and this one note made me almost loose my groceries. I havent been seeing very much music as I have been jamming with the "delta reds" busy writting a new bunch of songs. That band is a crust/doom band but I am trying to sneak a few little black metal parts in there. In the new year I am going to really focus on my own solo black metal project. Old Greggs take on burzum.Ha! make sure you inform me if you see any good scottish black metal bands.666

ello Lovely.... how was your gig last week? I have to laugh at delayed synchronicity...the day after you were here, Munir and I went to the Museum of Modern Art which was fab...and the street surrounding was a virtual cornucopia of stores right up our alley! Sadly, we were two blocks away from it while we wandered aimlessly :( ahh well, guess we'll have to save it for next time you're in town for sure... There's a lovely art supply store across from the museum as well... I'm suffering from CRS at the moment and can't remember....Are you going to the Solstice Banquet on the 18th? xx

I also just found a band called Ludicra, who share a drummer with Agalloch. Ludicra is less on the folk, but they do some really cool stuff regardless. I'm really liking the album Fex Ubris Lex Orbis, most of which is up on last.fm for your listening pleasure.
