Heh, I was definitely referencing your obvious love of Ryan Adams. I wont mention your Glee cast listening if you ignore my N*SYNC listening parties. :-D

Hey! Our compatibility is now 'high'. Probably because I download your mixes every month, but I like to think it's because we're friends. ♥

hey, how's it going? :] just to say [again] that your little monthly mixes kick so much ass. some really cool artists that i didn't know about before. although, i don't agree that isbell is the coolest trucker, or that his songs are the best. well, it depends on the mood, they sometimes are, but generally, mike cooley is so awesome he should be president of the world :] that's about it, i think :] all the best

After listening to The Gaslight Anthem's new album NON STOP (yes it is that good) since I got it yesterday, I have to say my highlights are "The Diamond Street Choir", "Boxer" and "Old Haunts" - also " We Did It When We Young" and "American Slang" are worth mentioning but tbh the whole thing is amazing. 1 WEEK TODAY .... I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED! P.s can you message me you're number again please? Had to get a replacement phone and lost all my contacts.

Shearwater are playing Stereo on July 28th - personally I'm not too fussed (spending the last of my cash on seeing the fucking amazing [artist]Bad Religion[/artist]). But aye, ken you like them. Also Drive By Truckers are playing Glasgow on the 10th of November. I've seen them before so would rather see Bad Religion. If I could affiord it I would go to everything. Hope all is well. p.s, its about time you got into Frightened Rabbit :P

I was thinking that but then what are the chances of Malin playing Scotland 2 nights in the trot?! Both gigs are at the King Tuts so both would result in me running away early for the friggin' train. Oooh cool. See ya there - my sister is coming along to the Edinburgh date aswelll. She thought I was scary "dancin" away at Okkervil River last year. She ain't seen nothin' yet!

I have a very difficult decision to make; Seeing Jesse Malin two consecutive nights or going to see Ed Harcourt and only seeing Malin in Edinburgh. I can only afford one of these options. It truly sucks :( What oh what should I do?!

That reminds me, when I was at that Patti Smith gig the other week, I sat down beside the dude who was standing next to me at Jesse Malin in the ABC 2 in 2008 (the dude that gave me the whisky!). It was quite scary how he remembered me. Do you think he is a stalker?! 8| P.S, I'm watchin Pinnochio atm - it's fucking amazing. Not watched it in so long :')

The way the people at Tickets Scotland are talking, Wilco will be sold out within a matter of days. I went today to get a ticket this morning - they had to give me a receipt (I paid for it - £24.50) as they have no tickets available but should be getting a few more in at the weekend. X

I'm planning on going to tickets scotland tomorrow morning on my trip back from Govan. I'm also skint - I'm digging into my very rainy day money :S Thats how badly I want to see them! And it's at the Barrowlands, which is always a plus. Oor Willy was good. Very electric.

P.S, have you ever heard of an extraordinary woman called Vienna Teng? I've been waiting almost 4 years to see her live but because she is relatively unknown she hasn't come to Scotland (from what I know). She's been number 1 on my to see live list for quite some time. I got into her through the song "whatever you want" and haven't looked back since. Just wish more people knew about her so her chances of coming here could increase.

Nah, I haven't. However, I'm giving them a wee listen on myspace atm and must say I am impressed. Most new artists I have heard lately have bored me (think it's partly to do with the mood I'm in) but The Last Battle are certainly pleasing.

Interesting. Good luck with that. Euan seems to be a nice bloke - I've chatted to him several times and it's the impression he gives off. I'm sure if you ask nicely there wouldn't be a problem with it. As much as I enjoyed the Shearwater show the other night, I was more excited about going back to see Kim after the show so snuck away at the back of 11. What did I miss?

Was having a quick glance over your blog and noticed you also can't wait for The Kays Lavelle album coming out. Very glad you have been converted. They are amazing. They are launching their album on the 7th of May at Stereo in Glasgow. If you can afford it, you should come along. I'll be there =]
