well, the concert is on December 21. it is sold out but if i can get some tickets in a reasonable price (what won't be easy) maybe I still have the chance to go. Rammstein is also sold out... damn Mexico city, it's so crowded that everything sells out in few seconds :S Anyway, last Saturday I went to see D.R.I. and it was very good :D

wow nice song! i like it. That sounds pretty much like post-rock to me... some people say the last anathema albums go in this direction. Another post-rock band i like is "God Is An Astronaut" nice stuff from ireland: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34C41eEpM48 and there are some great "post-metal" like Neurosis, Isis, Agalloch, etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4ih3JVrRPE I had the good luck to see Agalloch live... that was awesome!

what!? really? can't believe it! Bon Jovi Fan #1, impossible you miss that! I also won't go to see Roger Waters, all the tickets were sold in 20 min. And I wasn't one of the lucky ones... Scheiss revendedores... Now all my hopes for a concert this year are put on Rammstein on Dec. 5, let's see if i can get a ticket :S

I'm just passing this along to all my friends. I finally created an artist page for Lethal Shöck here on last.fm. All the songs are available for download, and I'm trying to get the profile picture to change, but it needs more positive votes. It's the cropped version of the current picture. Thanks again.

Thanks for your interest. I haven't been updating my Twitter feed as often as I'd like to, but I will get to it soon. My energy is being stretched in several directions right now (work, music, and relationships).

It just occurred to me that I probably never gave you a link to the old demo. I'm always excited about the new material, but here's a slice of the past. This demo was recorded about a month after we decided to form the band. We've been struggling to find a drummer ever since. This is from December '08 and January '09. Much the same here. My new position at work has me running around like a headless chicken sometimes, but I like it. Every day is different and the time flies by. I'm in charge of maintenance. It's amazing what can happen in 8 hours at a busy grocery store. Besides work, the band is slowly progressing. We've talked with a couple more drummers and a friend in Canada has started distributing our first demo and the feedback has been very positive. It's been almost a year since we first recorded, so I am really excited to get the new material down on tape, but this time around we have forsaken the drum machine. It's live drums or bust!

Yes, imports are always expensive. I buy most of my music online now. I use a site called www.legalsounds.com where mp3s are only $0.09 per song. I think it's based in Poland, because that is the default country it uses. The files vary in quality, but they have that information available so you know what you're downloading. I've gotten over 2,500 songs from them, and so far I've only deleted 5 because of playback issues. I've found about 75% of what I have searched for. I'm wondering what other sites are out there. It's been a while since I shopped.

I haven't heard their newer material. I only have Judgement. Still one of my favorite albums. I like some of the early stuff too. I will keep them in mind the next time I shop for music!

Anathema! I saw them at Milwaukee Metalfest back in 2000. They played on the Relapse stage, which was an old upstairs theater room. It was very intimate. For their encore, they played Comfortably Numb.

Thanks to you, too. Nice to see some Maiden in the recent plays. Maybe you would enjoy hearing my band. We're still not complete, and we're back in the hunt for a new drummer. Right now it's just myself and my best friend, Pat. I'll give you a link to our YouTube page with a video we recorded last month. It's only a rehearsal, and Pat isn't going to be lead guitar when we are complete, he will do bass/vocals. We call ourselves Lethal Shöck.

I'm very hopeful about the album, and I was before hearing the song. It will be interesting to hear the album.

I don't know if you listen to much Megadeth any more, but have you heard the new song "Head Crusher"?
