haa, i was worried after i wrote that that i'd sound a little too giddy. trust you to pick up on it. i couldn't find any pictures of the beast (it may have been a special event). he had a big red light in his head (presumably a camera) so i thought that was a good way to document the gig. honestly, sage will have trouble topping it - i'm sure he will, though. apparently my internet may be down later on, so if i don't get back to you hastily it's not because i don't want to.

(that is to say; i know damned well i'll end up talking to you until dawn. which, whilst very enjoyable, does put a bit of a dampener on my real-life commitments. soon!)

well, it does include the boris, bss and metric discog's :DD. also: dead meadow are soooo much better live. far less southern, and bassier. it was the grooviest, noisiest way to chill/funk/rock out and be semi-despondent. their bass player looks like the most fun guy to be around. during their last song pre-encore they have this dude in a huge tree/snuffleuffagus/beast suit come out and rock out with them for no reason, which was amazing. seriously though - amazing show. they have to be in my top-10 now on the basis of that performance alone (coming from nowhere), it was that good. ps: sorry i'm not online-online now, i was home not long ago and neeeeed the sleep if i'm going to be able to live through tomorrow/the-day-after. loving the xx plays!

Music you have in common includes Why?, Beirut, Mew, Broken Social Scene and Yann Tiersen. I think you should consider coming to the gig I'm putting on in September. http://www.last.fm/event/1606662+Carefully+Planned+presents... xx

They are! But they are such amazing dogs too. I saw one a few years ago and fell in love with them. Even if they are like the size of a horse haha. And I walk one here sometimes and even though she is old and like...her back legs ahve near enough packed in, it is still so amazing to be up close with one. Smart dogs too. I did liek the shih-tzus too though. But...We were their pets, not the other way round.

Oh yeah, that's pretty cool <3. And Chows are so awesome and fluffy. Is your dog like my Mum's Shih Tzu's? I mean...smaller dogs seem to be quite bossy haha. But always cute. I would love to have a Newfoundland, but they are just so big. It feels unfair to have a dog of that size if you didn't live on like...a farm or something.
