Hey man, just to get back to you on your recommendations - I liked the Armed album, so thanks for that. Cancerslug was ok, but it just made me want to listen to the Misfits, haha. Also, I checked out the Vessel of Iniquity album, which wasn't bad at all. I like their dense fog of riffs and drum machine insanity.

Thanks, I'll check out the Armed and Lacrimosa,. I am a bit behind for 2021, hence the request below. I made a huge list of releases to check out on Spotify, I alphabetised them, and I am sloooowly making my way through them...I still haven't listened to the new Eyehategod or Melvins for example... I see you've listened to Spectral Wound, have you heard "Disavowed, and Left Hopeless" by Our Place of Worship is Silence? Altarage has a new one that's nice and unsettling as well. Honestly, the stuff that has really stuck with me from this year is Yol from Altin Gut, the new Little Simz, Adrian Younge's new album (none of which are particularly heavy), and I am trying to deep dive into certain noise/ambient artists like Guilty Connector & Zoviet France.

Hey there! Thanks for the kind words. You've got a nice eclectic library yourself. We've enter the final quarter of 2021...what's a solid '21 release you could recommend?

For me it was Mass V that kinda switched the flip to "hold up, somethings going on here" and Mass VI was the one that got me fully. I know that a lot of people also consider Mass IIII to be their best, but Mass III is also very good. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is you can't go pick a wrong dish from the buffet if it's all really freaking tasty. Anyways, to boil it down to one album, go with Mass VI, it's not only my favourite of theirs but also arguably the most accessible album they made.
