You? Proper songs? Are you high? I do contribute to the Word blog. But lots of people do, its a collaborative thing. Though there's now the potential that good articles or reviews end up in the magazine. Which is good, obviously. Yeah, shame about Christmas. Oh well, maybe another time. Have got a second job now as well. So I am uber busy. Still writing tunes. Kind of post-rock/psychadelic/folk stuff. Nice.

You already said. But that's quite alright. Sending postcards is nice. Especially when they say more than "weather ok, wish you were here, see you soon, lolz" or something. At the moment I am loving The xx. Very good new post punk / post rock / indie band. And Tortoise. I think I've finally managed to "understand them".

You'll be proud of me this week. Been listening to lots of Nick Cave. Henry's Dream is awesome. ...its cover is balls, however

Indeed. I see you're still alive. Fail. I'm still working just outside of Aber, but am trying to leave now. Find a job somewhere else. Have you got Mogwai's new album? Tis very good. Might go see Nas / Mos Def in November in Birmingham. You interested?

I wasn't on the arena floor during the MC5 set - was up against the short wall behind the sound gear - great view from there and great sound balance too. I'm too old now for the mosh pit - sadly!

I also enjoyed the Stooges and MC5. Was one of the few punters who shouted out 'Kick Out the Jams' at Wayne Kramer's prompting.

Hi Bob. Yes, I enjoyed the festie immensely. Didn't see Wolf Eyes but did catch others that I've put in my 2006 Gigs List on my page here. I loved Gang of Four most as their stage show was much better than their albums would suggest. I saw them twice!
