100,000 Scrobbles! 11 years in the making, I finally am in the 6-digits. My first scrobble — Young Marble Giants - Searching for Mr Right was the same as my 100,000th. How tastes can change, yet sometimes remain the same

if there's an alternate universe in which our musical compatibility is not super, I don't wanna live in it

Dear sir, that may well be a big problem. I will update Last.fm soon-ish, once I get a laptop to play my own music on. But, whatevs. Hey! Mark Molnar's band is putting a concert on on the 16th, when you come to town, and I was thinking about going. I have yet to find out what the venue is, but if you're up for that...

Dude, badass. But I raise the stakes with... Captain Beefheart: Trout Mask Replica. If ever you need more abrasive surrealist music, with craziness, that's to be checked out.

Yeah, the Coil cover is great and spooky!! That whole Coil album is fantastic, actually.

I've had a look, and yeah Hot Cross are not bad at all! :)) hmmm...I can recommend u In Fear and Faith (and in particularly these songs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNYYX3e7LsQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zh7LW2MDhew ), also some swedish bands as Adept and Herbrightskies r good, then my Italians from Rome - Hopes Die Last. Actually, there r many good post.hardcore, screamo, emocore bands....but right now I can't think of any particular strikingly good one... they r so similar to one another...and, to b honest, I usually just play some radio station of that kind without paying much attention to the bands' names. It's the music that counts more. Anyway, I listen (and especially I used to listen a few years ago) also other music genres - mainly gothic and doom metal. and my favourite band is Tristania and my favorite album is their "Beyond the Veil". If u want u can listen (but till the end!) to this - in my opinion - awesome song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlvagChFNdA
