i'm actually not too familiar with the coathangers - I know 1 song by them that I really like. I have been meaning to listen to them for a while. I see you're also going to Guided by Voices, have you seen them before?? I saw them once about 10 years ago, it was a fun show

hey man you should do a podcast. just record your banter in GB and when you want to play a track just insert the audio file on GB. i think it would be interesting. katie knows a site where you can post them for other people to listen to... c.u.b! rep

Your Fall sugg is duly noted...the last one I heard was the one that Narnack released stateside, I dunno, 5 or 6 years ago? there's just so much to listen to, something's got to give (plus I haven't ripped any of my albs of theirs onto the computer). but maybe your nudge will prevent them from being that something. speaking of, do you know Blue Orchids? they were Martin Bramah's band after he left and he sure made good of his departure....speaking otherly, seeing as you're a Snoop and Big Baby Jesus man, you should def. arm your daily regiment with some early AMG or DJ Quik if they're not already in the ranks. gangstas of lovin' are still gangstas!
