The word "epic" is used loosely so often these days that it is truly tough to define what is "epic". When describing any music made by Blind Guardian, it is the only appropriate description.

Gotta leave a shout after seeing such a Clutch addict. Funny that this band just clicked on me like never, and I know them for over a year or more! Elephant Riders is such an outstanding record, I've been listening to it many times during this week. Keep Clutchin'!

Yeah The Cove is pretty much dead these days, at least for me. I only ever look through the Clutch related part of the forum and activity is pretty low. Some interesting people there though and it's worth visiting there in case someone has found a new interview or piece of information about the new album, etc. That's a pretty great username you have over there too!

If you love viking or doom metal or awesome music. I implore you to check out Scald "Will of The Gods Is Great Power" It's by this Russian Epic Viking Doom band from 1996! They only released one album and then on Sept. 6th, 1997, their lead singer Maxim "Agyl" Andrianov tragically died. The band kinda reminds me of what would have happend if Bathory and Candlemass had a spawn. It's not just the vocals, it's the atmosphere and then epic riffs. Some of these riffs just completely blow my mind. Not in a technically way. This album is just so amazing! Check it out!

Holy shit finally saw the last episode of The Walking Dead last night. The ending scene with Rick in the bar had tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. " I hear Nebraska is nice" "Nebraska....This guy." BLAM BLAM BLAM few seconds later cue "The Regulator" by CLUTCH. I wonder if Neil will say "I hear Nebraska is nice" before the song is played live in the future. I hope more people who have never heard of the band discover the awesomeness that is CLUTCH.

Must say, everyone who said Clutch live are possibly the best are 100% right! I throughly enjoyed their set and was landed that they had a generous hour set. I know for a fact that's one band I'll be seeing live again and again, shame they're a support 'cause they are really worthy of a headline spot.

I read your comment on the Clutch page and could totally relate to that but with Kyuss. I was at a music shop in Swansea because we stopped there on a way from skating a park and I was looking at all the bass guitars, I turn to my mate and said ''This is the exact acoustic bass that Scott Reeder plays I think'' then the guy working there was like ''Oh a kid with taste, I heard that Scott Reeder reference there'' I was like ''Haha sweet''. We then talked about seeing them live in which he saw them at the same time I went haha.

I just got the new re-released of Clutch Blast Tyrant 2 disc deluxe edition directly from indiemerch with the t-shirt and sticker. Definitely, still one of the best albums of all time. Really like the acoustic numbers on Basket of Eggs too especially Tight Like That and Box Car Shorty's Confession. IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!
