Hi! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but thank you so much for replying to my post. Your recommendations were spot on, of course, (must be why our compatibility is Super). In case you're curious--I can't get enough of Purity Ring, I don't know how I hadn't come across them before. Same with Diiv and Girls--bummer that the band split up a few weeks ago though. Anyway thanks so much again, I definitely appreciate it.

So have you had time to make any judgements on the Radiohead album yet? What's the final verdict?

And here I thought I could suggest something new! It's hard to recommend something when you know of every band ever in existence.

Dear Ben. Hello. I can see we both have been obsessing over Mumford and Sons as of late. This is great because they are fan-freakin-tastic. Also Volume Two of She and Him has vastly improved on the first. Please let me know how you feel about it and also recommend a few St. Vincent songs to enjoy. Thank you. Your friend whom you need to see, JP.

You've been listening to some Ryan Adams, so I don't know if you've listened to these two songs of his yet, but they're my favorites: To Be Young, My Winding Wheel

Haha actually not too much better, because now they're full of bluegrass-ish recommendations because of my Avett obsession, but at least I got rid of those artists. I am going to Big Ears! I'm going to see the Clogs with Sufjan Stevens and Vampire Weekend tomorrow. Are you?

Haha it is a bit odd, I must confess. I totally forgot how much I loved jamming to the Subways until I saw it on your profile! Excellent choice.

Cool thanks to you. If I'm honest, I haven't delved into the albums of 2009 much yet. So I guess you've done me a service telling me what albums I should try. Perhaps closer to the end of the year, I might be able to give you a list! UK bands.. You must surely have heard of Bloc Party? Particularly the album "Silent Alarm". The Twilight Sad are pretty amazing.
