Thanks, I'm doing great! And yes it's been quite a long time. My summer was lovely. I spent time with my friends & family, travelled to the USA for three weeks and enjoyed the quiet time at a Finnish summer cottage by a beautiful lake. So I simply cannot complain. :) How about you? How is everything going?

Well a very nice surprise came this morning when I woke up... it was snowing!!!! And now I'm beginning to believe white Christmas is be possible after all. I'll try to deliver your message to Santa tomorrow when he comes with the presents. Maybe he could do smth with the testosterone levels, I hope... :( But yummy, those sufganiyahs look sooooo delicious, I would sure like to have one of those! :D I wish you a nice HanuChristmas too and may it be one without any wars or fighting.

Hi you! :D Well I think the global warming has had this sad effect on the Finnish weather, cause I fear our Christmas here in southern F. will be as non-snowy as last year. But I truly hope we'll get some snow... :) And I hope I've been nice enough this year, so that my one wish of happy and relaxing holiday season will come true... ;) I send you lots of Finnish Christmas greetings from the north! :D And happy Hanukah!

Hahaha!! :D Well, the Finnish summer is usually quite nice, although way too short. It begins in June and ends in August. :( But this year we had such a crappy winter and also a crappy summer... :( People were rather upset about it. The Finnish winter lasts so long and it's dark and depressing. Normally there's at least snow, but last winter was so weird that e.g. here in Helsinki there was no snow... And in Lapland they had real problems with the tourists that had come to enjoy the snowy scenery and the sleigh rides..and there was hardly snow on the ground. :( A bit sad. And this summer was just cold and it was raining most of the time. And now the winter is coming, again.. hopefully it will be better than last year. And yes, in my opinion our ex-president has done a wonderful and valuable job in many countries that have needed help. So I think he deserved the Nobel prize. Although there are many people that don't share my opinion. :(

Well I haven't actually decided which holiday is the nicest, but I like Christmas very much. And from the non-religious holidays I prefer "Juhannus" (Midsummer). There is a habit in Finnland that people go to their summer cottages to enjoy the "nightless night". I cannot describe how beautiful the landscape is when you are sitting by a lake after sauna, in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of the night and the sun never sets... It's so quiet and peaceful while you're waching the bonfires and eating sausages. ;)

And have a wonderful שנה טובה as well! :D I suppose that means shana tova and has something to do with wishing sb a happy new year?! At least that's what the dictionary on the net told me.

:) Well, with Blackfield I just wanted to try somenthing new. Hahaa, that was sooo funny what you wrote about the Sigur Rós lyrics! And in fact I agree with you totally. :) It is somewhat agonising when you have no clue what they are singing. But on their website it says that some translations will come "soon". Whatever that soon means. I don't know for how long that info has been there, but hopefully something will happen. And if you manage to find a good site with the translations then please let me know. Have a wonderful weekend!

Well the Sigur Rós concert yesterday was amazing in my opinion and I enjoyed it very much. :) (Although they didn't play my favourite song Flugufrelsarinn.) I read from the review that the show was little bit different than usual since they'd left [artist]múm[/artist] "at home" and also didn't use any background videos. But on the other hand... why would they need videos or another band on stage when they are such talented multi-instrumentalist themselves. :) I was absolutely speechless after the whole experience... *sigh* :D
