Yeah, it's nice to have a record of all the stuff I've listened to since about 2006. There should be some good stuff in their you might like, though this year I seem to have been primarily listening to alot of older stuff. I listened to alot of good 2019 stuff earlier this year but most of the new stuff from 2020 I've not got around to listening to. Probably should get around to that at some stage... What have you been listening to recently that floats your boat?

Oh damn I never saw this reply until now! I've been listening to a playlist that was made for me that has an incredible assortment of different genres. A lot of it has actually taken me by surprise and I enjoy a lot of the instrumental stuff by the glitch mob, god is an astronaut, sleepmakeswaves, the end of the ocean, this will destroy you, explosions in the sky and if these trees could talk. I've discovered so many artists that I never would've known existed and really enjoy listening to them all

Okies. Yeah already got the Drones and DB. Will download Yo La Tengo, I've never listened to them before. I saw Luke's page before but Spotify doesn't work in Indonesia but I guess I can use it for ideas. Cheers

Any thoughts on the new Gillian Welch album...? I'm cobbling together a review for it now.

Not so much...I haven't had as much time and opportunity to listen to music (working heaps and I can't listen to stuff when my housemate is home) Also for some reason, windows media player keeps unchecking the last.fm plug in so everytime I listen to music I have to make sure the box is checked or it doesn't register

I knooowwww!!!! I'm so sorry I have been super slack :/ I just never get out that way and have been struggling to think of a time when your parents will be home that also coincides with not getting raped by peak hour traffic on the fwy and Roe. I wasn't sure when they were back until I just saw your last message. I mentioned it to Ryan and maybe he will be able to get it for me cause his sister lives in Forrestfield and I'm sure your parents are tired of looking at it! Going to buy my ticket to London in November to leave mid/late Feb. When are you heading back to Oz???

That's two weeks that package took to arrive! Not impressive at all! Still - happy you are delighted. Gonna try and have another DVD for you by the weekend. I've been tempted by Perverted By Language too. Think it's about time I took the plunge. With the am:X-C DVD, you will have on screen prompts for your funnels...

Stronly recommend it. And if you get the chance to see the man live I strongly recommend that too.

Oh nice! I have never had the chance to see him live. Am going to "On the bright side festival " in a few weeks time; Angus and Julia Stone, Mumford and Sons, The Strokes to name a few so that's quite exciting. Back is not so good, got this week off work to rest. It was nearly good again but then it got angry for some reason. Panadeine forte is my friend. Hope all is well with you, hoping to head to Europe at the very end of this year/beginning of next year with Ryan in tow as long as he raises the cash in time!

Turns out Saudi needs a minimum of 2 years experience so no go there. Attempting to find out what the deal is with the UK but specific info is very hard to find, just loads of recruiting agencies online. Emailed one and no response. Wondering whether they'll be more accepting of only one years experience. Problem is health system over there is a mess and workloads are even worse than here so would be looking more for a live in/carer/personal nurse type deal for some sort of rich reclusive millionaire lol

Not bad, my grad program finishes in 3 months....have some heavy decision making about what to do next. Was going to stay here for another year or so til I saved enough to start travelling but my Mum is talking about fronting the money if I want to go now. Also thinking about Saudi....Ga! So much to think about....

Its hard work. Theatre is pretty rough for a new grad first rotation, getting there slowly though. Happy cause I've finally been moved out of eyeball surgery into trauma which is what I wanted all along. Mostly deals with fixing bones broken in a humerous manner. How are you? Whats happening with Phuket?

8 tonnes of heavy guitar solos and endings that were longer that the gig itself. I've posted my review on amxc and there'll be a link to as soon as I've thought of a catchy headline. I have a couple of mini-gripes (in fact there a few things I didn't get round to in the review such as a rather ponderous and disappointing Cortez the Killer (which is undeniably my favorite NY song), but overall it was pretty memorable. I've managed to turn my Japanese friend onto Cinammon Girl and we'd printed out the lyrics the drunken night before so we could memorise and sing all the words, which we did. And the encore was an event.
