Hmm ... good news! ...http://www.spinner.com/2013/04/09/rolling-stones-former-guitarist-mick-taylor/ ... (I personally wouldn't want to see them with a stand-in for MT.) Unfortunately I never have seen the Stones in concert, and am not inclined to pay the extraordinarily high $ to get good seats for their upcoming show nearby (San Francisco .. bay area). As limited consolation, I did run into Mick Jagger in Martinique (airport) years ago ... he's very short! Also, I have literally run into one of his former lead body guards (North America tour), whom I used to play racquetball with ... so, enjoyed hearing tour tales over a beer or three after a good pounding ... he was very large! Have fun!

Johnny Winter tour? Hmm ... well, I saw him about 40 years ago at the Spectrum in Philadelphia and it was really classic (saw Edgar & others there too); however, that was 40 years ago, so I have no idea if JW still has chops. In a recent pic, he looks pretty aged now ( http://www.ebaumsworld.com/pictures/view/286021/ ), but then he always looked kinda freaky, being an albino ... 'freaky,' being way 'in' back then. I would def check out some recent reviews before going, unless you are there mainly to see a blues legend. As I recall, most of his songs were blues covers; however, he did them like no one else ... my point being, that if he's lost his chops, they're potentially gonna sound not that spectacular, being covers. ... ok this made me step back for a recent review and it sounds worthwhile even though he's somewhat frail and sits ... cool! GO! ... http://blogcritics.org/music/article/concert-review-johnny-winter-at-bb/

'His lips move, but he says nothing,' paraphrased, 'His Recently Played Tracks appear, but he Shouts nothing.' Ok, a stretch of the adage, but the question is 'How you been, Benjamin? Any trips lately &/or comin up?' I saw your latest tracks, the last four (Tull/Garcia) of which are among my favs, and wanted to say hi.

Well, I don't recall St Maartin's airport being that scary in comparison to some of the private plane trips I've been on, but it sounds like it's scarier on the beach, if one is silly enough to enjoy 'relaxing' on the small area of beach on the landing path. Martinique & St Barts were the best for me by far. As for things to do down there ... the best by day is get a sailboat (the tradewinds rock down there!). Heat wave? England? now? that sounds odd but good. Weather is just perfect here ... comfortable shortsleeve weather day & night with narry a cloud to be found ... perfect for you cyclers (which is actually fairly big here). Last job ended, but have enough support to keep me quite comfortable, so all's good. Tell me when/if you listen to/like my latest recommendations. Check Murder by Death's description 'somehow simultaneously reminiscent of Johnny Cash and Radiohead' ... strange but true!

Tough life you got going on! /sarc . I've never been to Antigua, but have been to St Maartin, St Barts & Martinique & Jamaica. On St Maatin, we stayed with friends that had a big cat (~75'), that was truly amazingly fast in those tradewinds ... and Club Med on Martinique didn't suck ... St Barts was great too, but story there is too long for here ... Jamaica's great if you're into sensi. What did you think of Antigua? The Le Mans race sounds great ... have fun! As for music, do check out The Voidist by Imaad Wasif.

Machine Gun Fellatio? Well, hem, haw .... OK computer, brilliant! And compliments to the lass who would turn you on to such a band. The word, "spunk", comes to mind but I choose not to misuse it in a sentence for a proper Englishman. (LT, LT, LT). Senegal and the Gambia? Sounds exotic enough, but what the frak is there? And when are you two gonna make it to California?

Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids! Eh, finally back working. Have been having fun with VBA ... paid to play! What about you? Any trips planned? Hey, do you like Dire Straits? Their 1st 2 albums really shine (Dire Straits & Communiqué) & Mark Knopfler plays a mean slide guitar.

I tried to watch the replays of each stage at night after work. It was definitely an exciting Tour. It was great to see Cavendish get the green. Schleck will have his chance, don't worry!

I thought this would be a cool way to hear some new interesting music as well as get to know LFM peeps. So, here's what Ima gonna do. Each day I will post a message to 4 of my LFM friends recommending a station of music that isn't in their library. And will ask for a return favour. It should be fun. :~D So, Here We go! http://www.last.fm/listen/artist/The%2BCollectors/similarartists

Hi, You have the most unusual library, I've never heard of most of it. Then again, I've never heard of most things. I look forward to new listening experiences. Maybe we can chat about Aussie music, I little about that. Love, Patricia.
