I TOTALLY agree. Big Eyed Girl was the one that totally made me perk up on first listen and it gets even better. I really love the way the album flows from one track to the next, it's so fluid and wanders before breaking out into some of Tatum's most pop, upbeat tracks to date -- it's wildly effective! I think the incorporation of "On Guyot" and "Data World" is wonderful, it reminds me of the "Paradise" interlude but even more fleshed out. I really think he pushed his limits with this one. Good stuff.

all their 3 major releases are legendary imo, all in their own different ways. terminals are a very broody, idiosyncratic kind of a noise/psych band, their debut LP 'Touch' is perfect for shoegazers/noise rockers , the next LP Little Things is my personal favourite and their last one Last Days of the Sun is ideal as a desert rock/psych record. you can't go wrong with either of them

Twin Shadow were really good. They weren't the headliners when I saw them, so the set was a bit rushed. Looks like you get to more than a few good shows yourself. Simian Mobile and The Books! Nice.

sorry for the un-replies i was in Pheonix for about a week, visiting family, but i usually get my music either looking for it on the internet or i use soulseek, i mostly use soulseek though. its a person to person sharing program that you could use to download music, www.slsknet.org i have been using it for quite some time now, pretty much the place to go to find any type of underground music, i like it alot, also i am planning to go see the books play live but i just got to figure out how i'm i supposed to get there. got a few months to think about so....

No, I couldn't get a ticket in time for P4k, they sold out so fast, well the 3 day I mean. And yes, I like to think that I listen to the best of the 80's, which is by far my favorite decade of music, next to the 60's. I think the influence is definitely in music though. Speaking of which, my new album is finished: http://www.mediafire.com/?zmzzuzuyyiy thought you might like that.
