Been on a bit of a darkwave binge as of late, including Dvar. I find Dvar in particular to be oddly calming. I wish the music was produced better and it sounded a bit more real cuz it's very obviously midi but that's part of the charm of it I suppose.. plus the mystery of the project itself is part of the enjoyment. As for wumpscut it's exactly what I've been looking for for probably months at this point... electronic music has always appealed to me since very early on (long before I got hooked on metal) but I never really bothered diving into it until as of late. I never really knew where to begin, I was already into cyber/industrial metal beforehand so I kinda worked my way backwards through genres until I landed on EBM. Wumpscut manages provides that aggressiveness and heaviness without actually being metal itself which I love. Do you have any favorite albums by them? I haven't been into them long enough to really find a favorite yet

Kind of hard to choose. Embryodead is pretty much constant banger. Otherwise Bunkertor 7 is a classic as is Music For Slaughtering Tribe. From the newer material maybe Cannibal Anthem. Evoke has few really good tracks as well (Then again most of his albums do). For Those About To Starve is a great EP. I haven't listened to Giftkeks yet although it's been out a while.

Evoke's first few songs are very strong, I especially enjoy the title track. Doesn't really keep the energy throughout the whole thing though :/ I'll give Embryodead a try + the other things you mentioned, thx!
