Just stopped by your last.fm profile as a musical neighbour and am enjoying the mix of jazz and alt-pop/rock. Best wishes – Rob, from London

Felicitation on your 14th LASTFM ANNIVERSARY today :-) ... How time flew by when enjoying your 8750 bands ... May you be blessed with many more such musical cake days, and many exquiste, musical discoveries ... What is your opinion about lastfm now ( and what did you expect when you joined )? ... btw: Here in Germany chancellor Angela Merkel extended the measures against COVID-19 virus until end of June, again. And in your country, Anne?

Hello again from Dortmund, Anne! Time really flies... you are still here at lastfm after more than 12 years :-) How does that feel ? ... Also, when you look back from today's viewpoint: how did your musical journey ripen over these years? ... Wishing you all the superb music in achieving your soon-to-come 129k scrobbles milestone... How I came by here, again? ... I was just re-reading comments from almost 7 years ago (2011 July) in my shoutbox... Wishing you a nice Sunday

Once again the powers of the herb open up the mind. Seek deep inside, tell me what you find.

Salut!

I'm sorta tha same as you. I've been listening to a lot of the same things... Felt, the Pop Group, Swell Maps.. If yr interested you might find some intriguing nuggets in my most listened to albums. I'm sure you know most of them, but there's a few that might be a pleasant or new surprise.

Quand Last.fm prétend que tu n'as pas écouté de musique dans les 30 derniers jours ahaha. La blague.

Yep, I've got the 1st albums by soft machine, red crayola, and the united states of America all on vinyl.. they're some of my favourites. Anyway, yeah summer's been good. A bit too humid and hazy, but I'd rather that than tha cold. I knew of Arthur Russel, but not where to start. So thanks ;)

My pleasure :D From the Audrey avatar, to the Super musical compatibility, I wasn't surprised that your music is so good. Will be keeping my eyes peeled for an appearance of Seahorse Hunter or Dalida's Cat on Alkaline or Tracks (or the many other shows) *crossing fingers*. Good Luck.

Thats the question! Punk is not repeatable. And Rock'n'Roll has limits: If some groups today present themselves as a mixture of Led Zeppelin and The Who, then has this patina. I like to listen to old records, what sounds more "real" for me, then to spend a lot of money to buy a ticket to see how some third generation groups smash guitars.

ahah. actually I've seen stereolab twice and broadcast thrice. I saw stereolab open for sonic youth for the cobra and phases tour and as headliners for sounddust... Mary Hansen still alive then. I think broadcast is the best live band I've ever seen. I especially liked the haha sound era show
