There is Nowt worse when your hardrive goes tits up, but what can you do? Hope everything is groovy in your world? Not a big fan of this new look last.fm though. A right old bag o' dog snot if you ask me! Loving the new Clutch and Iron Maiden. anything currently on your radar?

The Midnight Odyssey album is meant to bring influences from all his side projects so hopefully should be influences in there to your liking. Well I've made my way through all of Khors discography - warmed more to the last two albums and its pleasant enough in places though not quite pulling me enough to warrant further listening. I kind of found that 'Pawn On The Universal Chessboard' flowed pretty much as one track anyway....I really do enjoy the ambient and mellow passages - such a diverse sound they have. Can't wait to see a headline set from them in October!

Hey Rich! I didn't buy the box-set in the end but settled on the digipak...sits on my shelves nicely :P I would probably say it's my AOTY so far although am highly anticipating Midnight Odyssey's impending release. Arcturian took a little while to grow on me but sure does showcase their range of sounds, will be picking it up shortly. Khors....on my list to get round to checking them out, have known of them for ages but never got round to it.

Shame that you missed the Nile gig! As you say it was masterclass in metal! very impressive night all round, their technicality was amazing. Have a go at this http://www.last.fm/music/Vragh if you haven't acquired it already. it's not a classic but has some really nice touches! : )

They are definitely on Zanussi this bunch! make portal (Australia) sound normal, I need a bit more convincing regarding this Facebook thingy, I've held out for so long it would be a shame to give in now! : )

Hey Rich! How's it going? Been awhile...I notice you were listening to the new album from Ered Wethrin (US) - what did you think?

Hey! That Ered Wethrin is quite good! Thanks for the recommendation. Hope they release more material soon. What do you think of new Behemoth? Bad ass bass! Been listening to it a lot. Waiting to get my hands for the vinyl version. I think it's time to get rid off my av receiver and buy 2 channel amplifier. Lot of options out there and some of the best come out from UK. Exposure, Naim, Musical Fidelity, Cambridge Audio, Arcam etc. Gonna go demo some of those in a week or two. The only problem is the money as usual... ;) Damn expensive stuff!

Wassup mate? How has 2013 been treating you so far? Do you have your AOTY contenders ready at this point or still waiting for some releases?

Ah, I wondered if it was you I spoke to, must've been someone else then :) yeah, I have heard about the acoustic stuff. The Winterfylleth track has been done and dusted for ages apparently, but the album has been held up while the other bands get around to recording their own tracks. I gather it's a collection of bands doing traditional folk songs acoustically. Primordial have a track as well. Should be good!

Yeah, Faust's playing with them too... not sure if Tchort will be involved though. I saw them 3 times the last time they reformed at Wacken and the London Arsetoria in 2006 and at Hellfest in 2007, never saw them the first time around.

Have acted promptly on your recommendation! Vorna...remind me of Equilibrium - quite enjoyable and catchy in places, probably something I'd have enjoyed a lot a few years back or so whilst still greatly in to my folk metal. Always greatly appreciated though, cheers :)

No i haven't seen it and truth to tell ain't so keen about watching it...i'm pretty sure it isn't even close to the original. Did you like it? I suggest you to watch Intruder. Campbell makes a small role in it but there's Sam and Ted Raimi on it. Really enjoyable "old time" horror movie with the usual comical twist :)

Well hello Mister Fancypants. Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things, right now: Jack and shit... and Jack left town. :) Bruce is one of my absolute favorite actors! Glad you liked Agrimonia, i listened the last album couple of times and was like this needs to be ordered right now and so i did. Quite capable female singer isn't she? Cheers from Hellsinki!
