Yay more money today. Everyone really thinks that, but look at me, no experience, pretty shitty student, and I am doing pretty well for myself =P. Screw law, now that is a stupid degree, seriously. Well you can do it, but here is a warning, at least 6 readings every week, crazy tutorials, an insane amount of scope for the course (ethics, science, economics etc). However, if you're able to get a good tutorial, can get a grasp of the economics side of thing, and are able to just pull on a little of the other stuff, you'll be fine. It was a lot easier for those of us that had done Economics than those who hadn't. Change your major? =P. Neither did I, so I didn't =P. It's first year, they're all just arrogant. Soon they will get knocked down to size, don't you worry. Pffft... we were the only school that split everyone in to three groups for english, maths and science?

Well I had to mail out surveys, and then the last lot of surveys are still coming in, so I have to enter them in to excel, so pretty basic stuff so far. But I have some better stuff to start now. Oh it is, although I've only been paid once, but I get paid again on the 16th and I am so looking forward to it. Yeah, I was really lucky actually. A uni friend who graduated and is now working at the Treasury is earning 5k less than me, and she was actually the top Public Policy student last year. Or the 3rd years are just really uncool? =P. Well trust me, stay away from Publ 207, it was the most work I have ever done for a paper. Just don't do 3rd year pols then. You get free bus if you are between campuses though. It was for the cabbage English classes at my high school

Yeah like 200 of them. I don't know why I would need so many, it's crazy. They're still pretty much all in the box that they were given to me in on my desk. Um, I'm on $50,000 right now, and my next opportunity to negotiate my income is April 2011. It's just a pity that often they choose stupid topics that no one really cares about. But yeah, it is nice to write about things that you are passionate about, and it makes them a lot easier to write too. In first year? I somehow doubt they'd give you that much! Well if you take the public policy route, you can have all (or most) of your lectures down at the train station. But yeah, I was up there for exams last year, and things were already a bit crazy. Those were amazing in first year to get through boring lectures. Oh, like those credits for filling in a form in English? I wanted to do that assessment so much =P

I am an Economist now. I have business cards and everything. Yeah well it is a subject that I think is highly opinionated, and those who hold strong well supported and reasoned opinions usually do well. You have always struck me as someone that has been highly opinionated, so I know that you will do well and that you have chosen the right path so to speak. Nope, just Public Policy really, but I heard that they are really good. Oh, I missed all of that because I was at a different campus, but yeah, that's been going on for a while. It's not like the first week matters at all anyway. I hope you are on your way to getting better though. Yeah stupid first years, did you pick up a salient for the typical first year bitching? I don't even think they did that in NCEA the joke that it is haha =P

Evening Rachelious. Yes indeed I have. I started on the 14th of February, so I have been working for a little while now. Well I never took any spol papers, so I wouldn't know. Second year public policy papers were pretty good though, or at least the lecturers are alright. And by third year you are kinda stuck anyway, so that's how you get through it =P.

I was actually shocked in second year by how much harder it was considering how easy first year was. But if you are prepared for the leap you should be fine. Well at least you'll be used to the university environment =P. Pretty poorly to be honest, who would have thought that there would have been so few decent jobs around?

Yeah that sounds like it. Apparently the lectures are fairly enjoyable. Well I'm pretty sure they don't expect much. I never started my essays any earlier than the night before they were due and always got pretty good marks, so as long as you know your stuff you'll be fine. Yeah I bet it would, but just a word of caution, don't think that the ease will translate in to second year because it is quite a jump in terms of difficulty. Thank you, it's about time I got some good grades after 3 years of university =P

I had a friend who took a couple of those this year to make up some points. I hope that you manged to pick the politics paper that you get random politicians coming in to lecture you every week though, sounded like a really cool paper. Ok, well I'm sure you'll find public policy relatively easy, as long as your essay skills didn't deteriorate down in Dunedin haha. Oh, stupid limited entry papers. Thank you. Well I suppose you never really had any need to know the address. You should have taken Econ 130 or Quan 102, I just received an email asking if I wanted to be a tutor because of my grades last semester =P

Oh, go you, all political and stuff. Well if you do end up taking any public policy papers, or you need some public policy papers for points, let me know and I'll tell you which ones will suit you best (and which to avoid at all costs). You sound so organised already, I enrolled like a week before the end of enrollment last year, and I still really have no idea what I will be doing next year. And you can't remember my address? Gosh =P

I've even begun looking for a job. Lets just hope that my calculations are right and I do have enough points to graduate. I majored in Economics and Public Policy. You won't have to take anything economical to do politics, or at least I don't think you do. Just do a BA majoring in politics, and you could probably chuck in a few public policy papers whilst you're at it (I can tell you which ones are worth taking and won't have any (or very little) economics in them). I'm sure that you would have no problem with most of the commerce papers.

I am terrible at things like that. I leave my revision really late, usually until the day before the exam, then find out that I have so much to go over. Seems like you really should have planned a bit better though so you had everything packed so you didn't need to stay up =P. My one and a half days haha? All it has done is rain, so not really. Last night was ok though.

Oh wow, that seems hardly fair =/. I have enough trouble remembering what happened yesterday, four months is bloody ages! I always do things like that. Did you like having them all close or do you prefer them to be spread out a bit? I had 3 exams in 3 days last year and it was really tough. Mine were fine I guess, pretty confident of passing one of them, the other I am hoping to scrape though.

Well I think that it is for the best haha. Haha awww. Well we won 5-0 against Petone and are comfortably in third place on the table.Well that was silly of you. I remember the last time I was drinking without eating dinner, and it did not end well for me. Yeah pretty much all student flats are like that. Sounds like a pretty good night though =P.

Sounds like a good theory I guess. Well hey, surely if worst comes to worst, you can just open yourself up to check? And how can you not know everything about endocrine and immune systems? =P. Well I hope you survived the night. My Saturday was fine, had a football game, and yeah, nothing too exciting.

Just a really smart idiot then? Yeah I suppose, although I was unaware that you linked them. Yeah, if you do tutorials for the right courses, apparently you can get paid for 3 hours for just an hours worth of work. But that was at Victoria a couple of years ago, so I don't know if it is still the case or not. What is with Otago and having tests during the weekends? Best of luck with your test I guess. It will show you the level of your "natural" knowledge about the subject then haha. Yeah I should, but I don't know when I will get around to it. Oh well...

I actually like the length of my hair, I just don't like that photo. Haha Will is an idiot eh? I did not expect to hear you saying that =P. And Joel would know about your last.fm how? I guess that is kinda like those people that take Tutorials too then, seems like a lot of hassle though. You hate imperfections haha? I imagine there aren't too many people that you do like then.

Well what are your chances that he will still help you? However, it is only as awkward as you let it be, so just act like you normally would. Haha so we could talk about Will but not Joel? Only in that picture (which was taken yesterday). It looks far shorter in this old picture haha =P.

It is nothing interesting. Last.fm was having troubles posting my messages last night. First time I got an error message, second time it just wouldn't send, even after about 30 minutes, so that was the third time I attempted to send it. Ohh ok, so things may actually work out pretty well for you then? On here? The only place that I would reply faster would be by text. But like I said, I have been busy recently, so haven't really had the time. But usually, as long as I am on my computer, I will reply straight away.

Hmmm... Third time a charm? (I realise you will have no idea what I am talking about, but yeah). I hope that the next time you saw Graeme you hit him around the head! Oh well I guess. Correct me if I am wrong in assuming that Joel is "suuuuper cute" guy haha. I have recently found out that it is week 10 already, and I have so much due all at the same time. So naturally, I am procrastinating. But overall I am good thank you.

Oh wow, three long messages. I assume that this is old news now and you have a new update for me? Seems like Graeme was being pretty ditsy not realising about Will, but what can you do? If you have no new information, I would suggest that it doesn't sound very good for you and Will, especially with him not bothering to talk to you on facebook. Yeah girls =P

Well it is just down the road, so you could go there any time =P. It is much the same here, it is warm at my house, and at uni, and on the bus and train I guess, but that short walk between them is really cold. Although I am probably the only one complaining. Yeah well I am considering it still, honours in Public Policy offers a few interesting papers. Haha I do remember when your birthday is, but 19 is just like 18, so it isn't THAT exciting =P. Well that is nice. I am feeling my age now, and really can't do too much during the weekends now, I am genuinely really tired after football games =\. I still go out occasionally, but not as often as I would like unfortunately.
