I love their first albums. I love all their music, even the lowest rated albums. Rotting misery is one of my favorite songs. I think they are my favorite band, they are the only ones I haven't got tired of listening to, for more than ten years now.

Stupid last.fm updates. I don't even get notified when someone follows me and I forget to follow back. You've got a nice library over there. ^^

здорово звучит, только не хватает мелодичной вставки с иллюзорной прогулкой по норд лесу

siouxsie meets krautrock and surf music from hell. that`s what they sound like. they`re quite good though, but lately i`ve been listening to too much jazz and world music to be into this. i`m growing old and boring. :)

mother russia! yeah, sometimes i sign in and stare at my charts as if it was some kind of diary, restoring memory loss and reminding myself of what i am or used to be. just kidding, i`m not crazy. :D how are things down south? any new australian band to recommend?

Hey, we’re sharing this with people who seem to have an interesting taste, so this is not a blind spam. We’re a metal room that plays a variety of interesting bands and genres. You’re more than welcome to pass by and share some tunes! Hope to see you at http://plug.dj/the-bone-garden-metal-room/ , cheers!

Lucky guy! Still have another two weeks myself, but now you're reading this, you're already done. Plenty of time for metal, yeah. Denouncement Pyre's latest was fucking furious, definitely one of my favourite of 2013.

lol, and a month later I learn to respond to some messages instead of being a douche. Things are going pretty well for the most part, finished a long week at uni so just relaxing for the short time being. I have heard of Svartdaudi (thanks to your mix) and they were really good. How is it going on your end?

Hey man , how's things ? Uni still breaking your balls? This must be the first time Ive logged on in over a year ! I've been flat out, new job and my one year old son have eaten up whatever forum perusal time i once had, hahaha. i'm not complaining though. I missed the sadistic intent /archgoat gig which was regrettable, but I'm at that stage in life where that's just the way shit is. Was it as good as it should've been ? I got to eyehategod though which was fucking nuts , i cant recall if you liked sludge or not.. you cant do as much drugs as i have and not like sludge ! . Any good shows coming up? I hope we do cross paths at a gig one day mate. Keep those horns pointed at the heavens. \m/

Yeah Ive listened to Summoning many times and it is great but something about it never grabbed me. Not heavy enough for me i think.

it is! but one thing is that i have always respected you and your musical tastes so i know that if you recommend something, it wont be shit! and i am open to discovering things that might be outside of my normal field. Lately I have been listening to a lot of Gravdal, Kistvaen, and Den Saakaldte.

oh thank you! i will check them out this afternoon, i spent a good portion of yesterday scoping out people's profiles for bands but nothing grabbed me. i tried a song from that album you spoke about at dinner the other night and it was good although the quality on the youtube clip was poor and i was listening on the tram lol, so i need to check it out properly but the music was fucking cool

Fun day here or there, mostly going through the motions, and yourself? The Death in June albums? Ended up downloading something like 12 albums (Including live albums) only have listened to "But, What Ends When the Symbols Shatters?" and "The Guilty Have No Pride" and I was blown away. The former was exactly what I was looking for, a really nice melancholic echoing sadness, and the latter really reminded me of DCD combined with a few early punk albums, in specific Cortex - Spinal Injuries and a little bit of the Baron's clean vocals (But where does one go wrong with DCD, Cortex or Amebix?) Monumental sounding. Are their later works similar to But, What Ends When the Symbols Shatter? I listened to a bit, and I do mean exactly that, of Nada! and it sounded like a really nice mixture of the two DIJ albums I mentioned.

Hey, it's severed-metal from UG, so how are Death in June? I always hear good things about them but never actually listened. Where to begin I should ask.

TheNecrotizer Sweet as Man ! I haven't been getting to as many gigs as I planned to this year unfortunately, evil invaders sounds like it was a blast ! Nice to hear your doing a bit of recording too, there's nothing like a bit of black prog. so it should be killer ! Tunes wise it's been mainly OSDM lately, I've just being re-visiting a lot of the Florida classics and proto-death stuff I never really listened to extensively, that and some old school grindcore this week, which I'm thoroughly enjoying.

haha the Graveland picture is a bit like 'seriously rob, what where you thinking?' As for the Velimor, assuming you mean Наш Мир, I think now I've had a good few months to get to know it, it'd say it's good, but not great. It fills a hole when your in the mood for that sort of sound, but I'd much sooner listen to Наследие. I think there's less overtly folk sections on the new one too. Also saw you 8track comment, glad you liked it, I did try and put a little bit of effort into how the tracks flowed, form the 93mmfts track with the build up, to the way it ends with a less in your face, but still quite intense ending. I can empathise with you about Skywave. It took me a while to really appreciate them, and I think the rougher production, and the almost pinky feel the music has at times put me off a bit, as it was less poppy. But now it's clicked I love it, but like I say I can appreciate why you think it might not think it fits as well as the rest. a
