Happy new year greetings, I see you use lastfm for >11 years already :-) That's quite a long time... Do you still recall, how did your musical taste develop over all these years? ... Also... all the best for your forthcoming **65k scrobbles, and "500 artists scrobbled" milestones** ... How I stumbled upon you, by the way? ... lastFM tells you're currently 1 of my musical neighbours (fifty users are currently in this list): last dot fm/user/experimental_EY/neighbours

Hello. The most significant change in this 11 years is that I started listening to non-metal genres, mostly prog-rock from the 70s. Since that I begun getting into more and more experimental music, to the point where I stopped listening to many metal bands I loved in the past because they're were sounding "basic" (not that the bands are actually basic in a demeaning way, is that since I started getting into progressive/experimental bands, I couldn't stop looking for some sort of experimentation in the bands I was listening to). That derived into the bands I mostly listen to today: Between the Buried and Me, Opeth, The Dillinger Escape Plan, etc. Very different bands, but very experimental and unique-sounding. Hope that helps, see ya.

Thanks, that's very detailed feedback, you seem to remember much better than the average lastfm user... I like how open-minded you're with music! Nice! ... Wishing you a nice, musical Friday and many musical pearls in 2019
