If you like "Time Machine", you should listen to Calvin Harris. That song was produced by him, and you can really hear the influence..

Have you heard of Francis International Airport? I like this band... Thought it sounded like something you'd like. Also, you need to jam to more ben folds, obviously

hahaha wowwww, funny story about that show. me and my friend actually went to that and we took the metro because neither of us had out licenses at the time. we saw both opening bands (rahim and nurses) but had to leave before maps even came on because the metro was going to close, we were so pissed. but yeah it defiantly has good energy. i know a lot of people who are going and i hope the show has a pretty big turn out. also, do you have a facebook?

why yes I have! three times actually! i found out about them by complete mistake when they opened for mewithoutYou two years ago and i was blown away by them. I saw them two times after that and the most recent being when they opened for ra ra riot which is another favorite of mine. but yeah, perch patchwork is amazing! haha my almost yearlong was completely worth it. I've actually been listening to for a month now since my friend that works at filter sent me the album but i'm happy for everyone to hear and enjoy it now because i think its a huge step for the band.

yeah, i noticed that too. the loudest people near us were there for everest, so that's how i had to gauge general opinion. i wasn't too impressed with them, but i think that's mostly because i was impatient for minus the bear. young the giant was alright though, if a little metro for my tastes. my girlfriend listens to all kind of awesome music. she's on here as souterraine, if you're one of those people who enjoys creeping people's profiles.

i thought i would die. my girlfriend and i were the two closest people to dave, and he signed my copy of omni after, because i creeped around for him after the show. you went, right?

i have to give you credit, that was both well thought out and well-timed. i've been reading/thinking a lot lately, and i needed some practical advice to keep me functioning semi-normally. who would have thought that it would come from here. only eleven days until minus the bear. and i'm jealous that you're going to the album leaf.

yeah, well i don't go to as many shows as i'd like to either, so don't feel too bad. sunny day real estate was the only band i've been able to see on a weeknight during the school year. i'm getting out there a little more often though. i'm still working through the self-conscious high schooler thing, so i'm not too much of a dancer. and that sounds like a pretty good plan. i don't think i'd mind teaching, but who knows. ideally, i'd be able to get a roof over my head and enough calories in me to stay alive just from making music, but that's not always possible. so i'll just have to wait and see. oh, life.

oh yeah, well. i'm willing to support minus the bear. i don't pretend that i don't steal most of my music, but my understanding is that most bands make money from going to shows anyway. so i do that as much as i can. in all honestly, i'm usually one of those guys that stands with arms folded and makes snide comments about the other guys standing with their arms folded. i think i might have to groove a little bit to minus the bear though...i don't know how you could resist. india, huh? that's pretty cool. i'd love to go at some point, but i think europe will be my first stop. if you dont mind my asking, what did you decide to do?

my next $30 is definitely going to the deluxe, too. even though apparently the only difference is that the vinyl is in color. i'm going to do my best fangirl scream at the show. and yeah, i'm getting pretty bored with high school. most of the schools i'm looking at are the super radical liberal arts schools that instigate anti-war protests and special reports on fox news. so places like oberlin, st. johns, wesleyan. not that i can afford any of them, but i'm not allowing reality to affect my picture of the future just yet.

http://www.mediafire.com/?njhjnzzzioo unzip and enjoy. and that's a rather fair analysis.i would support the smacking of ghetto kids with education if i had voting rights. although i guess if you're actually in the city, you don't have much in the way of voting rights either. down here in northern virginia, the number of obscenely rich people is kind of shocking, but other than that it's unoffensive. i'm ready to move into the city though. too bad i still have two years until college.

oh, that's exciting. my spring break's already over, and i have nothing to show for it other than a slightly higher chance of getting lung cancer. kuwait does seem to roll off the tongue. it makes me wish that the united states were named more creatively. the domain i referenced was the dc metropolitan area.

oh yeah, i heard they have some nasty bugs in that area of the globe. my mother is the type that can't let go of things, so i don't think she's ever considered moving. i'd be up for it though. everybody here is so damn content. i'm in the awkward position of being a disturber of the peace in an area where everyone likes their peace, thank you very much. what's your opinion of our current domain?

You definitely have to stand up for yourself. The way I see it, as a relative newcomer, is that there's two groups of people in the same club, one which is seeking a quick fuck (both men AND women) and the other which is there to be with other people, dance, be merry and listen to fantastic music. And to make things more confusing, in my opinion, you have first timers who probably will never come back, who aren't into the music, or whatever. you got aim?

Nah, I'm not like that. I have my clique which maybe has 6 or 7 girls in it and I have to bail them all out at least once a night from dancing with creepy dudes who come and grind up on them... lots of girls want to just go out and have fun on their own without having a semi-erect cock shoved in the back of their dress and I don't understand how the average man doesn't understand that.

military brat, are we? a lot of the kids around here are. i actually began in florida, but i didn't stick around long enough for it to make a lasting impression on me, so i usually ignore it. washington state seems to be underrated. my aunt and uncle live up there, in spokane, and i was surprised by how much i enjoyed it. the neighborhood is straight out of the '50's.

Hard to explain without sounding like a complete drughead hippie [which I'm not, actually have never taken drugs but once] but when you listen to trance music in large groups in a club or whatever it's a beautiful experience, it's like everyone is connected, it's just wonderful. And I'll go to electro nights and such because I love dancin'.

How dare you lay a stereotype on me! ...yes, pretty much. Except I've grown tired of the typical ladies at a club and the drinks will be the death to those who choose to consume them >_> I've seen people who have been on the "scene" for more than 5 years... they all look real rough.
