For me, I use movies to sleep to, can't finish them often and have to rewatch 100x :-) ... I think there are phases in our music habbits, sometimes more discoveries and sometimes our "oldies" :-) I made some wavegraphs in the past, and from 2010-2015 I saw at least 5 phases in my listening history where my top100 artists shifted (see my blog: I've created for >1600 lastFM users 2500+ wavegraphs, usually they had like 2-3 shifts)... Thanks, I'd really appreciate your feedback about my compositions (it's available on many platforms). I started making music 8 years ago, with "Human sounds". Then lastfm decided to not store tracks anymore for every artist, and I lost 1 track from this album (in later years - when I am famous - they will remember this as "the lost track" ;-) ) I am sure other artists also got a little angry when their hard work disappeared. Lesson learnt was, that my new albums are all backup'd on many places. Wishing you a nice start of the working week...

Hello again :-) I remember in the news they worried about the pigeons in the city, because they are as you say are very empty now, and no one would "feed" them anymore. Here we also see how the places slowly get fuller again, but we still avoid people more, because the vaccine does not seem to come this year :-( Currently we have a city in Germany where the meat producer there distributes 20% of Germany's meat and they get now many infections among the workers. And the authorities shut down company and quarantined the workers, and still people who did not have contact with any of them got infected :-( I hope for safety and food for you and your family, my friend... Meanwhile, let us distract more with our hobbies e.g. like music. What's on your musical agenda for today? I will listen later my new "mix of the week" on spotify (which comes out every Monday). I hope you will discover many nice musicians, just play my "mix radio" etc. Feel free to also play the music I compose :-)

Selam! And nice, you've reached already your ">122k scrobbles" milestone :-) ... lastFM's discovery algorithm mentioned you are at the moment in my TOP12 musical neighbours (in the list are about 50 users): LAST dot FM/user/Erkan-Yilmaz/neighbours ... It is nice to stumble upon you ! ... How is it going on your side of the planet at the moment? I assume you stay indoors more lately in these COVID-19 virus times, as we also here in Germany ... Stay safe, and continue scrobbling tracks unstressed on this amazing Friday

Well, and now I am eager to discover Jacaszek: a mixture of Thom Yorke, neo-classic and ambient has to be great! By the way, I cannot wait for a new Radiohead record! I think everyone has his own subjective in- and output for music (so the output would be the pictures and emotions inside your head). The Misha Mishenko work was transformed into a journey through a foreign country (many hills and horse people), and the protagonist following the myths of the dragons (yeah, according to the name of the album^^). At "Waves" he leaves the mountains and finds the land sloping towards a not-to-distant water, an unknown sea; clear water, reflecting stars and all such stuff. Then of course, "Seeing the Dragon" and it's brutally beautiful. First I reckoned a feeling of disappointment there, like finding beauty but not what you were looking for, but then, the ending... whoa. Crazy shit, I know

ambient is such a great style of music, though I think there are many differences within the genre... My favourite ambient record is 'Caesura' from Helios, I guess. It always takes me to a place far away, often I feel like being on some kind of exoplanet with a dim sun, comfortable winds and with everything in a slow-motion-feeling. It does not happen that often that I get clear and detailed pictures like that in my head.. but as chance would have it, exactly that happened to me yesterday while listening to Misha Mishenko's "Songs of the Dead Dragons"! Don't know if you heard about it, he used about twenty ethnic slavic instruments for this record and I can say, it sounds great.

Jacaszek is very talented guy indeed :) i had an opportunity to listen him live, even twice. Soo... ambient You say? ok then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSO6aMiMBcM this may be something for You, try first album "the mist". it's gentle, smooth and nostalgic. and another stuff, more raw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVdXrvirNRY album "ravedeath 1972", one of the greatest ever created. if it doesn't hit You straightaway, give it a time. this music is worth it. this sentence also relates to this stuff, be prepared for a sick head trip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiXxpTyrSGI :) enjoy.

Concerning the roughness, I'd be okay with the Those Who Tell the Truth...-tunes. I think they almost overproduced Take Care. There are many talented but unknown artists out there ;) although 45 listeners is a really little amount of listeners tbh. One of my favourite albums had about 300 listeners when I first listened to it... best lo-fi album ever imo :)

Really? Well, that's quite interesting :D never thought of connecting BoS and EitS before... but you have to be a bit more precisely where you've heard EitS sounds in Lotusville.. the last songs, maybe, but the first parts are quite rough and different to the sounds of EitS nowadays...

oh, come on, german isn't that bad. It's quite complex and in many cases unlogical (could be because it is so old and many many dialects were mixed together, with this progress starting just 500 years ago). but I admit that it is utterly horrible to learn it :D persian could be quite a mix too, couldn't it? old persian and arabic languague and others from around the area..

Thing with the aryans is quite funny if you ask me, Hitler was searching aryans in the iran because of that (and in the himalaya) :D do you know some old historical monuments or buildings in the area around you (since you're quite near to the region where the first urban civilisations expanded)

and there is another thing on my mind... it drives me mad that there are no lyrics of "Scarlet Beast of Seven Heads" available, and I find it hard to figure out the lyrics myself because of the not-so-clean mastering.. additionally, he often uses older and less conventional words. how do you feel about it? Maybe your acoustic-"intake" is better than mine...

I hope you'll manage to get into that class ! (Just important that you understand how to get there :D:D). I think that's a side effect, because of the long time you spend working with those books.. after a time you'll know the important paragraph's, if you want it or not.. sounds a bit unemotional to me, this nowruz-fest :D bills for children, well that's capitalism at its finest.. In some books I read the old-term for Iran is Persia and it wasn't clear to me that Iran is the succesor of Persia, since I'm not that well read in inner-islamic history (just the time up to the 12nd century by now)..

Finally we got some politics in here :D well, the whole israel-thing is a bit messy and a tricky subject especially in germany (as usual in such situations our governments exercises restraint); we even discussed this topic for half a year in politic-lessons, with ambassadors both from Israel and Palestine.. I think Netanyahu acts very aggressive and treats the people from palestine like an oppressor (what the state israel could be in some eyes anyway). the nuclear power is also a touchy subject, because it can be used so wrong and of course other big nations worry about the potential danger very much.. oh, bush would have invaded Iran twice already :D Iran considers itself as the successor of persia, right?

hey mate. considered about buying some new headphones, 'cause the beats have some quality lacks concerning the workmanship... (they were a christmas present by the way). Nice words, but sadly I'm not entirely sure if law is the ultimate perfect subject for me. you know, the people are saying that you have to know the legal texts by heart but that's the only thing you DON'T need to know by heart, but instead all the rest that's not in the code of law :D and it seems to me that it's easier for me to learn and connect historical issues, dates and happenings, you know.. I'm sorry, I don't think I understood the thing about your university-plannings :D you've got a "pre-bachelor" degree in electronics (I can vaguely imagine what that means), but now you want to do an "art major" (I searched it on google; you need to see the definition on urban-dictionary, but I can hardly imagine that that's what you want :D ), so art major means studying arts like cinematography for example...?

haha well you definitely got a point :D the screenplay is simple, additionally I don't like the actors too much and the special effects as well :D but the reason I fancy this movie is that it dares to give an answer... It's so sad, but I can't find the time to watch the movies on my list though I have holidays... two houseworks in only eight weeks of free-time, I could only spend one week with my family :D thank god there are such things as headphones, so I can at least listen to some music on the way to the universaty... so, how are things going in Iran, Sadra?

you can change your rating at least... Oscars this year are shite, aren't they ?:D I mean, the most-nominated movies would have been underdogs some years ago... I need to watch some of David Lynch works, just know he is famous for his surrealism. Carl Sagan, who wrote Contact, had some great visions about outer space and extraterrestrial life, I really enjoy his thoughts

Oh man you really know what you're talking about! It would fill a whole essay to explain what the fascination of post-rock music evokes, but I think you got some important points. I love the song titles as much as you do, they can tell stories but the content of the story can vary due to the feelings you keep yourself in the moment you're listening. And they contain so much more than words could do, being so ambivalent, heroic and sad the same time (given in "I Believe in your Victory", take the part after the climax, it has something of "we are departing now but you have to be strong and you are strong and you will get it..."). Singers usually transport a more direct feeling (what can be totally great as well, take the power in all the Muse-songs!). So there are storyteller-concepts (like a novel) and thematic-concepts (more like a collection of isolated articels that sum up and outline a certain atmosphere).
