Today I've properly listened to Black Holes And Revolutions with B-Sides added on top and "Asassin" replaced with its extended version and I was blown away all over again.

Funnily enough I like Jeff Buckley singing style. I don't know many of his songs and sure he can get drama-tic but I don't mind. Dunno, I somehow "believe he's true" in what he does vocally. But Thom Yorke gets "moany" very often. I still like Kid A and Amnesiac and don't mind vocals on those two. But I can't go through OK Computer these days, too much cheese. /// Back to Muse: apologies, I meant Origins Of Symmetry. I didn't hear their very first album. I just checked their discography - always thought OOS was their first album maybe cause I saw videos from it on MTV back in the days and that was the first time I heard Muse. I still think New Born is a rock song masterpiece and I still love Bliss. But maybe it's one of those bands that have vocals/singer in the foreground and you can only enjoy their music if you enjoy the singing. As a NIN fan you must agree. Trent can do lots with his voice, he knows when to whisper and when to scream, he never gets boring. Not sure about Matt tho.

Hello! Yeah I get the confusion tons of people forget Showbiz exists lol, all good. I think that if you liked songs like New Born and Bliss you will enjoy other Muse songs too, maybe it's a question of it growing on you. Matt is a pretty versatile singer at least in my opinion, Microcuts, for example, is pretty insane when he pushes his falsettos so much to such insane degrees he might as well become another instrumental all together in that song. Maybe I could recommend Absolution when you'll feel like it, that was the album that really sold me on the band. It has very hard-hitting songs and a lot of diversity between the songs. Matt's voice becomes deeper with each album, while Thom kind of doubled down on his moaning pretty much by each album I feel (still fan of radiohead tho) You are totally right about Trent Reznor, some people have turned off NIN completely because they are not fans of Trent's voice!

It's a matter of preference, usually, obviously - for people with ears and not obviously for those who just follow fashions. And preference changes over time - if you don't listen one genre over and over. I love Burn The Witch and it's that song/point where I always try to expand my Radiohead albums knowledge further, beyond Amnesiac. But then I get bored very soon :) Unfortunately it's the same thing with some bands I got to know in the 90s like Pearl Jam or Sonic Youth. I stopped at Yield and Experimental Trash. The only 90s exception is Soundgarden, but they are the perfect band, so they're excused ;] Ofc I "blame" electronic music - after 98-99 when I discoverd Mouse On Mars and Autechre and were listening to rock less and less - things were never the same again, ever ;] But maybe electronics helped me appreciate Muse when I first heard them. So it's all connected ! ~~~

Maybe I write a lot of that cause I sometimes think it would be cool to be able to listen to e.g. Radiohead again the way I was able to listen to them ages ago. If people change - the music they like changes with them, the more they are into music. One can't be Thom's marketing target for life, maybe ;] Ofc I might understand the "let down and hanging around.....crashed like a bug in the ground" quite a lot more with age/experience, but don't get triggered emotionally by it.

YOOOOOOOO Wavedashing is a super fun mechanic that opens a lot of different strategies when it comes to Farewell and even previous maps. Just make sure not to exhaust your fingers at first lmao

It's cool looking but the punishment not to hear The Slip ever again is too much to bear.

Let's get it up to 9,999 and then One Million to reference the first two songs, if anything I have to scrobble it more than ever
