Eh, i'm not that bothered about NYC. I don't really like Foals - I listened to their first album when it came out and I haven't listened to their subsequent works. From what I've heard they're one of those bands that gradually got better over time buuuuut i'm in no rush to listen to them.

'keeping you sane' that kind of implies that you were sane in the first place … anyway, interpol were pretty good - to be honest I was just really glad they played Untitled. I didn't catch Health although I don't mind them from what I've heard (I've only heard a few of their songs - from the Soundtrack they did for Max Payne 3 a couple of years ago).

Maybe you can test it out with a piggy back … (not too soon for wise cracks I hope … )

I suppose it must also be weird to have physicians around you communicating in a different language whilst they drill into your arm and you're high as a kite. Oh well, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself aside from that *very minor* inconvenience …

is that the first time you've even broken a bone? Sounds terrible though, not an experience i'd particularly want to go through…

As an aside have you considered the hidden depth and meaning in the following excerpt of NIN's Piggy - "Hey pig, piggy, pig, pig, pig All of my fears came true. Black and blue and broken bones, You left me here; I'm all alone. My little piggy needed something new."

Did they manage to tell you what the natural angles you're supposed to thud into the ground arm first are? (Seriously though, that sucks. Hope it's improving and you're feeling better too.)

Well no, they're not particularly nice to the chickens … that's kinda how they wind up on a plate.

Ah right, cool - I never knew that. Then again I celebrate the fact that I'm on holiday at that time rather than actual Christmas. Also, how can you turn down an invitation from the Colonel? That's sacrilege!

Make sure you go South and not North. Well unless you want to be mistaken for a spy and fed to the mad dictators dogs. On second thought, be brave and go north ... Any reason why the Japs don't celebrate Christmas?

Yeah, I saw them for their last concert at the O2 (in 2009) and a lot of the times were the same - almost like Trent has some sort of list on what songs he will, and won't play at different arenas. To be honest, after the day I had getting there, they could've played the exact same set they did 5 years ago and I would have loved it. I'd have to agree with you though, I'd loooove to experience more of With Teeth live. Line Begins to Blur/ Beside You in Time/ Right Where it Belongs would be the dream! - I also heard HTDA and Social Network songs had been played in previous gigs... what's he got against playing that stuff in the UK? :P

Yeah the show did look nice. We got into the arena JUST as it was pitch black and The Day the World Went Away was about to kick off. So for a moment i thought "great! we can still catch a whole encore!" But then Hurt came next and I knew that the show was over. TDWWA was fantastic, but we were trying to get a good spot into the crowd for it. So really, I don't know, how can I say I'm happy with that? haha. Oh well, at least we made it for 2 whole songs. Can't believe I missed The Great Destroyer, Closer, and Find My Way. Any highlights for you?

So how was NIN? The trains from Brighton were so fucked that I got there for the last 2 songs.

Yeah ur totally rights about that dangerous part. Credit scores are pretty important around here. Oh and by the way, the interest on credit cards when you don't pay your bill is 19.99% interest. Fucking banks are scam artists these days.

I'm okay. Losing sleep over whether I should cut my credit card in half or just keep it for later. I honestly think I don't know what I should do... lol. By the way, you should listen to that Allison song by Slowdive a few more times. I've hit 16 plays on my iPod so far for that one. Beautiful lyrics, but so tragic.

That's a shame for her. I have just once, Reading 2009. It was brilliant, probably the best I've ever seen live.

Don't be sorry! I see your point, there were a lot of lesser known songs. I guess that with the high costs of the gigs only the long term more hardcore fans who are likely to have at least heard of these tracks would go to them. They would never do a set like that if it was a festival headline set say, because it would kill it.

That's a great review. Do you think you might have enjoyed Monday more if you had seats as well? What's been your favourite gig this year so far?

It may be a stupid question, but were Radiohead amazing? Was one night better than the other?

Hey. You have great musical taste. I'm a bit jealous of the gigs you are going to.

Hi, how are you? You have some interesting music in your library. Do you like English Accents? If so you might like to consider joining my group, 'We have English Accents'. You don't have to have one to join but I am looking for people who understand the difference between British and English accents, as the two get confused. Sending you my warmest greetings from Liverpool.
