Hey man, I remember you posting on 'The Rivers' page a while back asking if anyone knew where to get the song 'A little short' and was just wondering if you ever got hold of it? I heard it years ago and have looked for it a few times since but can't find much evidence online that even acknowledges its existence!! It's really bugged me!

Hey man~ Right you are, we haven't spoken in quite some time. I'm not bad aaaye, in my final year of school and approaching the final few weeks, so school is becoming all the more stressful. As a result, music is becoming more pivotal in keeping me from going insane =D How bout you, sir?

Maaan, even I'd see them if they came to Aus, though I don't think I'd camp out...and is suncream really necessary in England? Do they even have sun over there? My favourite song by them is probablyyyyyy, What's My Age Again, I'm not a hardcore fan, I listen to them for entertainment =D How bout you?

Well, the day was spectacular! A real experience for me, my first concert, loved the Living End, they were the highlight of my day. Really enjoyed Sneaky Sound System as well (surprisingly, I'm not into that kinda music) and saw a bit of Birds of Tokyo and the Getaway Plan =D Now, AM were only not the highlight because of their weak set list, opened with Da Frame 2R, played 2 new songs and a cover, closed with If You Were There, Beware, but other than that, it was so amazing. It was just, an incredible experience to see them walk on the stage, someone I've admired for so long (Alex Turner), it was so unforgetable, and I'll never forget it! Great experience!!!

Hahahahahaa, that reminds me of an ad we've got showing here for Bigpond; there's a parent/teacher/student meeting, and the teacher asks 'What does Australia day mean to Australia?' and she reads out his answer of 'Everyone gets a day off to watch the cricket' and then she glares at the dad XD Anyway, the 26th of January was the date the first fleet arrived on the East Coast of Australia. But the Aboriginals (uh, not sure how much you know about our history, natives to Australia) organise mass rallies occasionally, they call it 'Invasion Day' because the settlers took their land, so yeah, that's about it. There's a cricket match, some tennis for the Australian Open, Fireworks in every capital city, and my favourite radio station does a 'Hottest 100', where they count down the top 100 songs for the past year (they're real indie too, so it's nice). Anyway, I got my tickets this morning =D I'm so excited!

And yeah, I understand, if there's a brilliant artist in your country, there's no excuse for not having heard them! I'll use Crowded House as an example (...even though they're from New Zealand, they generally based themselves in Melbourne, wrote songs about it etc) I nearly die when someone says "I've never heard of them" :/

Yeah man, cheers for understanding, my dad is leaning torwards a yes at the moment =D HOWEVER, I've been notified by my mate that apparently, stores are no longer selling tickets, that there's been a cut off? Which is weird, cause the BDO is no where near to being sold out... But yeah, I know for a fact that sales have stopped on the net (which they always do a few weeks beforehand), but he's not certain that they've stopped in stores. So basically, today is Sunday (shops are closed), tomorrow is Australia Day (shops are also closed), so I'll ring around Tuesday morning...hoping they're still selling =S Hoping...

Ah, I see, but you've never seen Muse? Nah, Pigeon Detectives aren't playing at the BDO sadly (unless I missed them when I skimmed over the lineup) I'm almost certain I'm going it, just pending my father's approval (bet you'll have a laugh at this),, Yeah, it's a pretty huge show, but sadly this years lineup isn't that great, the Vines cancelled, so all I've got to look forward to is the Arctic Monkeys, the Living End, Birds of Tokyo, Neil Young, Youth Group, TV on The Radio, and my friend will probably drag me to the Ting Tings D= But oh well, the Monkeys will be awesome! Same with the Living End =D

Did it to impress a girl? Haha, I know the feeling man =P "but lets be honest, the people that hadn't already heard of Muse up until Summer 2008 don't deserve to have ever heard of them!" Aww man, you forget I'm a rather new fan, I heard them around.....early 2008 I guess, it's depresing that I hadn't heard of them beforehand. I'm going to my first gig late February, Coldplay! I'm getting pretty excited =D Though there's an Aussie festival (the big day out) on February 1st which I may be going to, not sure though, Arctic Monkeys are playing so I guess I would enjoy it =S How many gigs have you been to?

Yeah, I'm hoping the same as you, that it was just a muck around to...well, tell their fans they're still alive? But yeah, pretty sure it's just them mucking around =P Yeah, Glorious is tops, I'll email it to you (along with any other B-Sides you don't have? Have a look at my charts) if you want? Just yeah, send me your email in a message or whatever, if not, it's cool. Yeah, been off Muse a bit (not too much of course, just not my top artist of late), I've been listening to songs with female vocals: Dresden Dolls, Tegan and Sara and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Trying to find something I like, all of them are good, but I'm trying to find one I looooove! Alas, it's probably not possible...guess I'm more accustomed to male vocals =P
