Yeah. I mean it's a newer sound (much more symphonic and melodic, more clean vocals, less blasts and shred solos, obvious japanese music influence overall) and the songs are more varied and you can tell the amount of work Jari put into making it (the second track is fucking epic), and this might be just me but I can't help but shake that it took 8 years for a 5 track album (including an intro track and an interlude track.) But still, there is a lot of depth to it and it really is fucking good once it grows on you. If anything, don't mind my opinion and just listen to it.

It's doing quite well actually. I'm getting amazing ratings on Rateyourmusic since my music is so different and obscure. It helps that I'm recording everything with a cheap $5 mic, it's like I'm sticking up to the man... man. I'm doing lots of EP and splits now. I might actually be able to quit my job at Starbucks.

Well I've found it to be an accurate comparison. Old Spongebob and even some new episodes still appeal to all age groups, with jokes for all viewers, excellent animation, developed characters, funny episodes, and the fanbase is very strong and tight. The music aspect is also very well done and the quality is great. It'll clearly not be for everyone, but it's worth giving it a few tries, and if you don't like it then, then it's just simply not your thing. Is that a good explanation?

I could explain it but it's uh... I don't know, there are many reasons why I like the show but it wouldn't really help explain much to you. Do you like Spongebob?
