hey manda, do you know I Break Horses? it's not exactly new and i didn't see them in your list. but their one record is definitely hands down my favorite gazeydreamypop album in the past four or five years. you should see them if you get a chance. the singer wears a cape: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1okI2fESNO8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NF6bQWXvhKw

The show was okay. The first half was an hour of new stuff - some good, some not so good. The second half had older songs, including "Sway" and "Shine a Light" which were wonderful.

I've been thinking I was overdue to hear from you for a while. But, I didn't want to intrude if classwork was crushing you. How 'ya doin'? xoxox

Any time! 'Black Cherry' and 'Head First' are both very, very good, and sexier than anything I've ever heard before or since (but classier too, which is a paradox, but alas).

Hey, thanks for accepting the invite! I would recommend you check out all of Goldfrapp's 5 albums. I think it will please your thirst for shoegazer-compatible music, as well as for (in the latter 3 albums) something more subtle (and at at times also upfront) sleazy/sexy. Cheers!

Heey, yay!! :D it is a brilliant album! glad you liked it. Shallow's vocalist has another band as well, called The Capsules, it's pretty cool, kind of less shoegaze-y though, and more Mazzy Star-ish :D

omg, I'm listening for the first time to Rumskib's "Springtime". It sounds brilliant! the vocals remind me of Björk a bit during the verses (: I'll try to get the album asap!!

I REALLY LIKE Swallow, they're not in my top 50 but they're a wonderful band nonetheless :) I've listened to both Blow and Blowback... do you know the band Shallow??

Oh that brother o mine, playing Britney Spears on my computer....oh well. Canada is a-okay, it has been a really nice summer. I haven't discovered too much new music lately, though I have been into heavy doom type metal bands (Earth, Melvins) and noisy stuff like Lightning Bolt.

Hi dear new friend. You´re stuck in the 90´s ... but what do you think ´bout the new wave of shoegaze bands from the 00´s like "Malory", "Tearwave" ect.?

No, i won´t hate you so much for that ;) taste is different and i like a bright range of music not only Liz Fraser / Cocteau Twins. Most i like indie bands and i love to expect new ones.

Yes, i know the music of Robin Guthrie and his collaborations with Harold Budd, but it always makes me sad ´cause i´m missing the voice of Elizabeth Fraser in the music. And "This Mortal Coil" was a project from the circular bands of the 4ad label. Some people named the music "sadcore". I like most "Song to the Siren" and "Late Night" from TMS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwCp6RuQsZc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuxYIUsKDx0&a=XKoAAM6VTpw&playnext_from=ML And do you like?

Have you checked out Sweet Trip's album "You Will Never Know Why"? It totally sounds like sometihng you'd like. I noticed there were a few Sweet Trip plays in your library but I assume they were scrobbles of their other experimental glitchgaze stuff. YWNKW is quite straightforward dream pop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFTQLheRSuw
